Grandparents and Parents lived in Penn Yan. Visited every year. Breakfast at the Wagner was always a must....same today as it always was! Excellent. Do yourself a favor and have breakfast or lunch at The Wagner!

Really good food. I love it when Deena is our server. (I may have spelled her name wrong. ) she is very friendly, very knowledgeable about the food. She takes the time to talk to her customers and makes them feel welcome. I try to tip her generously. I hope the owners of the Wagener realize what a gem she is!!!!

Great breakfast spot!! My husband and I stopped at Wagners this morning and had a wonderful breakfast! He had a blueberry pancake, eggs, sausage & home fries. The blueberry pancake was amazing! The home fries were delicious and the eggs were good. The sausage was just so-so (typical frozen patty served at many diners). I had a buckwheat pancake and eggs. The pancake was good but I wish I had ordered the blueberry! The eggs were good. One thing I will say is that they did not scrimp on the butter like so many places! I hate when it seems like they barely passed a buttered knife across my toast! And my husband’s rye toast was really good- made with homemade rye bread! Definitely worth a try!! I wish we would have found this one earlier in the week, we definitely would have gone back! They had a few thing that sounded good that I would have liked to try!!
