Great atmosphere even better eats !!
First time visit on Thanksgiving was delightful. Enjoyed both prix fixe holiday menu and a la carte choices, all fresh, local and remarkably innovative. Nearly impossible to make a bad choice from the curated wine list, also featuring regional NY selections.
If you're looking to break out of the traditional restaurant grind, this local fusion spot is well worth a visit.
Our visit here was a definate highlight of our trip. Nott only was it one of the best Bloody Mary's that I have ever tasted (and, I'm a professional. lol), The brunch was spectacular. it was so fresh and obviously made with love. Nick, Nikki and Rose were the most gracious hosts. They gave us suggestions of people to meet, places to go and music to see. it was a day of adventures, laughter, very cool experiences, delicious food and wine, thanks to them! Thanks again, Burnt...read full review

Burnt Rose Wine Bar & Restaurant offers an excellent dining experience with a focus on great food and a good selection of wine. It is located in the heart of Penn Yan and has become popular among both locals and visitors. The menu features dishes like Butter Chicken and Crab Tornaudo, along with other highlights such as the burrata appetizer, salmon, and lobster fradiavolo. The atmosphere is cute and trendy, but not too upscale, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the owner and chef are accommodating, often making menu changes for dietary needs. Many guests enjoyed the food, especially the salmon, which was very fresh and cooked to perfection, and the foie gras, considered one of the best. The restaurant also offers a good selection of wines, like the Lakewood Pinot Gris, dry Rose from Dr. Frank, and Ryan Williams Pinot Noir, all reasonably priced. Desserts like the berry shortcake are highly recommended. Overall, Burnt Rose is a refined yet unpretentious spot that provides delicious food and a delightful dining experience.
