It amazes me that this place exists in Perry NY. The wine choices are amazing! But the food may be the star here. Travis makes amazing dishes to pair with a wide variety of domestic and European wines. This place could be dropped into NYC, Rome, or Paris and be successful but instead it sits in Perry Ny alongside silver lake brewing,Letchworth state park and so much more! Visit Ration you won’t regret it!

In town for a wedding and came to try the regional wines, but the food stole the show. Wine and cocktails were wonderful, but for our foursome, that included two professional chefs (CIA alumni) we couldn't get enough of the plates. Charcuterie with house-made kielbasa, local summer sausage, smoked blue cheese, pimento cheese, and pickled mustard seeds, omg the mushroom toast (we ordered a second), hummus with pistachios, the best bruschetta I may have ever had, and deviled eggs with pickled beets that we're going to be talking about the whole drive back to New England. Everything was FANTASTIC! Who is cooking here??! You're a star.

We had the most fantastic time at Ration Wine Bar and we absolutely recommend it. My wife and I were in town to visit the gorgeous Letchworth Park before going to the Bills game. The wine bar was very close to our AirBnB so we walked down and had dinner and drinks. The servers were absolutely excellent - very friendly, very knowledgable, not condescending at all (which you might expect at some wine bars). We had the mussels and tried their wine recommendations and a few moscow mule variations. Everything was fantastic! We had such a great time that we came back the next day for their brunch! At that time we tried their amazing french bread with apples, and my wife had an incredible cabbage soup. Again, blew us away. We had such a great time that we came back that night for more drinks! We had a great time chatting and talking about the town. It was truly one of the best times I've had in a small town and we were thoroughly impressed by everything Ration Wine Bar had to offer. Go try it out!! And tip well, they deserve it!!

Visited here while hiking in the area! We were greeted warmly and immediately had menus. We tried some wines and the Moscow Mule. We also had their Brie...DELICIOUS! I would definitely recommend visiting. The place itself is very cute. The staff were very accommodating. Worth the try!

First visit to the wine bar. We arrived on a late Saturday afternoon, and we're warmly welcomed when we entered. We took a seat at the bar and were immediately given a food menu, a wine menu and a menu listing other beverages available (Beer, cocktails, seltzer, ciders for those who aren't fans of the grape). The wine list is extensive and we easily found a great Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio. They offer several different pour sizes, 2 oz., 5 oz., 8 oz., or a bottle - which is great because it allows you to try different wines if you want. The food menu offered several different items to a full charcuterie board, or you could choose from a small list of cheeses, meats and spreads to make your own. We chose cheddar cheese, summer sausage. When the board arrived it had our meat and cheese selection along with warm toasted baguette, pickled onion, pickled mustard seeds and a lovely berry jam. We enjoyed ourselves, we weren't rushed and attended to very well. We will be back, and we certainly will share this gem with friends.
SUCH amazing brunch! We had the crepes, Farmers Benedict, chicken sandwich, and broccoli cheddar quiche on special and all were 10/10. Charcuterie board was legit and used lots of local products!! All eleven of us loved our meals. Will definitely be back!

We would have loved to try this place. We drove into Perry to try them, but they were closed. Online stated that they opened at 3:00. Maybe they need to update their online hours. Sign on door said 5:00, so we went on to Geneseo.
