I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this! Local Palate is an amazing, elevated café nestled along other local places on the main drag in Phelps. A short drive from Rochester and totally worth it! Flavors were well- layered and beyond basic. The brunch offerings were surprising and satisfying. Highly recommend!

Can't say enough good about this local gem. Have only visited for breakfast and lunch so far and have enjoyed each visit tremendously. The food is delicious, the ambiance so sweet and welcoming, and the staff/owner is wonderful.

Vegetarian options: Nearly half the menu was vegetarian or easily modified to be.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options and ability to leave out problematic items.Parking: Depending on time of day the street parking is frequently changing out so you can find a spot by waiting or parking in larger areas behind buildings across the street. I find that the lot behind this side of street fills up more quickly.Kid-friendliness: Parents note that there is no kids menu nor high chairs/boosters. If your child is not a SAD picky eater they will have plenty to share but may have to sit on your lap if you don’t have your own travel seat handy. Also weekend evenings and live music are too lively for some families.

This is a fun place. Excellent food and beverages. We were there for the holiday movie brunch and it was great. Everthing tied together to the holiday movie theme - menu items, drinks, music. Food order took a little time, but it was worth the wait. Reservations recommended on the weekend. We will definitely return. Good job!

Been visiting Phelps lately but never checked out the food. My daughter and I were walking up and down Main Street and this place looked very inviting. As soon as you walk in you are acknowledged with a warm welcome. I had an everything bagel with maple bacon cream cheese. The bagel was so light and crispy but fluffy on the inside with plenty of herbs and spices on the outside. Cream cheese had to be hand-mixed with freshly cooked bacon and maple syrup. Had it with some English breakfast tea. Outstanding. Service is great dining area has a nice cozy vibe.

Terrible service, waited for 15 minutes to get water. Brunch order took an hour and the potatoes were raw and cold. Owner tried to say they've been busy all day and they are behind. 6 tables in whole place and 4 waitstaff. Figure it

Local Palate is 5 ⭐️ and beyond!Their food is amazing. Fresh local ingredients. You can tell they truly care what comes out of their kitchen. The staff is so friendly. They make feel right at home. Like you’ve been going there for years even if it’s your first time. Locale Palate’s themed brunches are our favorite. We love to dress for the theme and can hardly wait for the menu to be announced each month. We always order 2 things each and share because there is too many great food choices!My cousin drove an hour and a half to join to us because she dying to try a Local Palate brunch.Keep doing what you’re doing Local Palate! You have lots of fans!

Farm to Table cafe, love the farmhouse decor, can not say enough about the incredible staff, friendly and attentive, the food is just incredible! Love the theme brunch idea - I lived in Europe for years and had a dessert here that was the best pastry I've ever had! Great find! Looking forward to another visit. Great small town Main Street too, check out the shops!
