Ordered a shake and a burger. They were reasonably busy, but I still had my meal in like, 30 seconds or less. I was thoroughly impressed and they didnt sacrifice quality either. Outstanding for a rest stop-based franchise

Awful. Pathetic quality and food presentation. Absolute mess. Terribly rude service. Dined at locations in NYC that were pretty good fast food, if not pricy. This was a mistake. Felt totally ripped off. Don't fall for their trap if you have to pull off here. And don't even try to get any catsup from the evil condiment troll if you don't present multipe pieces of evidence to prove purchase received two minutes prior.

Very nice for a rest area on the thruway! Little pricey, but it's expected for a convenience stop.
This shake shack is inside a Service Area along the highway. It does not have all of the menu offers found at a regular location. Employees are usually overwhelmed and the food is just okay. They've renovated the Ramapo service area, so it's nicer inside. If you want a full selection of food and shakes, this is not the place to go. If you're hungry and you want something decent, and you're not a shake shack regular, then this will be fine.
