Ordered a shake and a burger. They were reasonably busy, but I still had my meal in like, 30 seconds or less. I was thoroughly impressed and they didnt sacrifice quality either. Outstanding for a rest stop-based franchise
This shake shack is inside a Service Area along the highway. It does not have all of the menu offers found at a regular location. Employees are usually overwhelmed and the food is just okay. They've renovated the Ramapo service area, so it's nicer inside. If you want a full selection of food and shakes, this is not the place to go. If you're hungry and you want something decent, and you're not a shake shack regular, then this will be fine.
Stopped at this location on the NYS thruway and other than limited seating, which is not the restaurant's issue, this was a great experience. The food was hot and tasted great. Service was fast even though they were extremely busy.
