We came here on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was packed. We ordered the Andouille Sausage & Grits and the Burger Mac & Cheese Burrito. The burrito was really creative and delicious. The sausage was a bit hard to chew and tasted like salami, which made it more sour than we expected. We sat close to the Airstream, and for some reason, it smelled like farm animal ??

Phoenicia Diner is one of my favorite restaurants in NY State. It is a must visit if you are anywhere nearby. The menu changes often and the food is always excellent. I had a breakfast burrito that I am still dreaming about and an iced coffee with maple syrup. The restaurant is always packed on weekends, so I’d recommend going during the week if you can.
The staff was so kind and very accommodating with allergies. I look forward to going back for many years to come.

Not the best experience after seeing the good reviews online! Our waitress was rude and very unprofessional. We placed an order with her for 2 orders of the buttermilk pancakes and an order of Eggs Any Way. She only brought 1 order of the pancakes and the egg dish out. We waited a while thinking another order of pancakes was going to come soon. After several minutes nothing so we then were trying to get the waitress’s attention for the longest and she wasn't coming. We ended up asking another waitress to check for us and she was sweet enough to go see and then our waitress comes back and says "I didn't hear you say 2. I only heard that you were sharing 2 dishes. I have no problem putting it in now but do you still want it?" And of course we said yes, and she was “like okay it'll be a few minutes.” Didn't even say sorry and said all of that with an ATTITUDE. She never came back to help our table and just let another person take over. The pancakes were good and the Eggs Any Way was average. The cups they give us were very dirty and we had to ask for them to be switched. Also such a crowded and noisy space.

I came with my two toy poodles. The woman at the front desk told me we had to sit outside area. No problem. I ordered the famous pancakes with excitement.
When food came, there were very few fruit-only two slices of strawberry and 6 blueberries not as showed on picture. The woman called my name at the outside bar area to grab my food myself while my next table was served to the table. Moreover there’s no silverware, I had to go inside and grab them from the other table since no one came to me after being waiting.
There were two butter came with 5 pancakes no one came to ask if you need anything. No paper napkins. No one brings water.
The woman who called me to grab food also said to me “Please put your dog on leash” while I had a carrier for them. Worried she might not be unfriendly enough so she pointed out “There’s a sign!”
How would that dinning experience would be if it was you?

I stopped by this diner while on a short getaway in Phoenicia. Best decision! The food and service were amazing. The breakfast potatoes are the best I've ever had in my life and that's not an exaggeration. I unfortunately did not try the pancakes so I'll have to be back at some point! The diner itself is also very cute and looks like something right out of a movie.

First time visiting Phoenicia Diner, this was a bucket list location for my group to visit and we planned to eat brunch here on the way to an event in the area.
My table wasn’t exactly ready to order but the waitress was willing to work with us to take the order and answered our questions. We should have asked for more time because there ended up being some confusion over the plates.
We ordered 2 eggs Benedict which is served on top of your choice of meat/mushroom and a freshly made English muffin. We ordered 1 with the crab cakes (it was on the salty side and dry alone. The hollandaise sauce from the eggs Benedict pulled the dish together. However, one of the eggs were overdone). The other eggs Benedict dish was served with spinach and mushrooms, the mushrooms appeared to be fresh oyster mushrooms (delicious, I personally enjoy my mushrooms to be batter-coated, fried and almost charred lol, but they were cooked ok. A bit chewy).
The eggs Benedict came with “Phoenician potatoes.” As a French fry (and all around potato) enthusiast, they were phenomenal. I loved the crunch and flavors added to them, absolute perfection.
Other dishes the table ordered:
Pancakes: very good, the buttermilk is their staple and I highly recommend. If you want delicious pancakes, you’ll not be disappointed here. I would return for this and the Phoenician potatoes only.
Pimento cheese grits with spicy tomato: I personally cannot find love for grits, but my table absolutely loves it and said it was reminiscent of a tamale.
We spent $85 inclusive of tips, 3 ate to being overstuffed and 1 nibbled. So this was more or less $20 per person for breakfast.
