Great menu and ambiance while it lasted. The coffee was brewed right from local roasters, and baked good deserving of more recognition. Service was decent but may have been the challenge of a new place. Will be missed but memories live on.

By way of Google maps and Instagram this establishment is permanently closed. No one answered the phone when I called.

Incredible food and friendly service! If you get the pancakes you may want to share.**Update since my last visit was over five years ago**I'm sad to see the mixed newer reviews and that the chorizo hash is no longer on the menu, I got that twice last time I was in the area (4-day camping trip and we ate breakfast here 3 mornings in a row.) Next time I come up I'm definitely stopping in for breakfast again but I'm glad I got to have the original, everything was seriously legendary!

The yummiest food, service was excellent and the drinks were so good. First time in Phoenicia and I will definitely be back with friends to Sweet Sue's.

Exceptional food. Highly recommend the ranchero. They were extremely extremely busy but still managed to be overly friendly and service was great. Only one bathroom which based on how busy they are it might help if they had another one that included a changing table.

This place has a serious rodent problem. I saw several rodents running in and out of the kitchen. This is absolutely disgusting. Rodents pose serious health issues. The workers also weren’t wearing gloves or hair nets. I brought this to the attention of the cashier, the oversized brown haired girl at the cashier counter. She didn’t take me seriously and dismissed me immediately. To sum it up the place looks nice aesthetically. The food is wanna be greenwich Village food. Food is overpriced and all sugar. Waste of time and money and hazardous to your health. This place would be awesome if they handle the rodents and have a grown up at the front counter.

Amazing food. The brisket hash is incredible. They have a smoker out back and the dish is 10/10. Also try the blueberry pancakes!

We stopped and it was hopping. The line moves very slowly because the place is so busy so don't come here if you are in a hurry. However, the coffee and service were great!

Brisket sandwich on sour dough is to die for! No one is in a rush here… so if you are- take a patience pill or don’t come. No rush to clean off tables or take orders, or see to you when you walk in the door. I read the reviews ahead of time and knew I was going to need to be patient for good food. The food was worth the wait… and I learned patience while waiting. :) :) :)

Always a great breakfast or lunch here. Pancakes are their specialty but I prefer one of their egg sandwiches. Cathy is a great waitress who has been there for years and always a smile on her face.

Been an occasional diner the past two decades. Good to see new owners have maintained the delicious Sue’s legacy pancakes along with a larger dining room.

The best pancakes and rancheros we’ve ever had! Latke potato pancakes were amazing and freshest coffee from a local roaster to top it all off. We came back twice during our stay in Phonecia. It’s on our list to come back again! Thank you for a great experience.

Great breakfast spot with friendly staff. Had pancakes and juevos rancheros. Both were delicious. Price is a little on the high side for the portion size but the flavor is definitely there. Great coffee too. Easy street parking
