Wow, what a great place The Phoenician Steakhouse is for a special meal! We went for a family birthday and were so glad we did. We had a range of appetizers and main courses, including salad, calamari, veggie pasta, salmon, steak, and lobster. Everything was fabulous, beautifully presented and served. We had cake at home so didn't sample desserts. But they looked great, and we're already discussing when we might get back to try them. Hopefully for our next special occasion....
Went here recently with my grandmother just to try it out. Prices are reasonable, ambience is subpar. Sitting outside is especially annoying if you're not wearing bug repellent, as there's tons of sandflies and bees. If you're looking for steakhouse vibes, I would consider dining inside instead. While the prices are decent, and the portions aren't much of a concern, the food itself isn't very innovative. Wouldn't consider the place for any sort of...
After being talked out of sitting outside we were then talked out of another table in the dining room only to be seated next to the napkin station. We ordered drinks and told the bread was coming. After 3 requests the bread came with the entrees rather than with the appetizers we ordered. The food was very good and one round of our drinks were good the second round were not. When spending $275 for a dinner for 2, I think it's fair to expect excellent service to compliment...
