Great place. Jim was very helpful in my bourbon and Whiskey selections. He offered samples and I made some additional picks. I didn't know of this place but was at Bullfinch Brewery and saw "butterscoth whiskey". I had to try that! It was said Lock 1 was just north of Syracuse, so I worked it into my trip, because I needed a bottle or 2 of that Butterscotch Whiskey. Once there, they had a Candy Cane Whiskey and a real Cinnamon Whiskey (Inferno). I got bottles of those too! As well as a FA Waldron distillers cut.Ashley is a great bartender!

My 1st pizza here - I liked the taste uf da pizza but this pizza lacks everything you want inna pizza in Feenix,NY. Here's dis mans mans bar, tough guy place and day serve dis skimpy little,itsy,bitsy paper thin pizza! I actually had to look inside da box to see if the pizza wus in dare! The god damn box weighed more!! Plus, in addition it cost 23 dollars with da tip that eye drove for pickup!! Let Independent make the real mans peetza!

Such a cool atmosphere, attentive friendly staff and a menu (both liquid and solid ?) that is fabulous ❤️ what a great convenient spot to stop for a bit or stay for a while. 5+ stars from the Watson’s!

Professional operation with excellent selection of distilled beverages and beer, as well as a small menu of well prepared foods. I tried a spirits flight, and liked the butterscotch whiskey best. Sweet, buttery and very drinkable. My SO and I shared a charcuterie plate, which was abundant with cheese, cured meats, olives, nuts and honey. He also enjoyed some tasty calamari. If this place were closer to where we live, would patronize frequently. My only complaint is that the barstools are very uncomfortable.
