Great place. Jim was very helpful in my bourbon and Whiskey selections. He offered samples and I made some additional picks. I didn't know of this place but was at Bullfinch Brewery and saw "butterscoth whiskey". I had to try that! It was said Lock 1 was just north of Syracuse, so I worked it into my trip, because I needed a bottle or 2 of that Butterscotch Whiskey. Once there, they had a Candy Cane Whiskey and a real Cinnamon Whiskey (Inferno). I got bottles...

Such a cool atmosphere, attentive friendly staff and a menu (both liquid and solid ?) that is fabulous ❤️ what a great convenient spot to stop for a bit or stay for a while. 5+ stars from the Watson’s!

Professional operation with excellent selection of distilled beverages and beer, as well as a small menu of well prepared foods. I tried a spirits flight, and liked the butterscotch whiskey best. Sweet, buttery and very drinkable. My SO and I shared a charcuterie plate, which was abundant with cheese, cured meats, olives, nuts and honey. He also enjoyed some tasty calamari. If this place were closer to where we live, would patronize frequently. My only complaint is that the barstools...
