This place is terrible food is tasteless and they're not turkish or middle eastern. They're Slavic from former Yugoslavia. Service sucks food is tasteless. I'll never drive from westchester to nyack again. Go to Clifton toros or or Beirut best middle eastern restaurants

The restaurant had a funky smell reminiscent of walking into a smoky bar back in the 90s. Walking into Kapadokya you're immediately in the bar of the restaurant so that was a bit weird. A nice touch was the gratis desert for the birthday occasion.

BTW - I appreciate their reply(below) however it is inaccurate. 1) I was not initially kindly informed. The man who answered the phone and first informed me was not kind. The woman who he transferred me to, was kind. 2) The information below - the potential health violation - is 1000% different than what I was told on the phone. 3) Ignoring the obvious(to me) funky smell is poor customer service. I had to take my niece for a walk twice during dinner to escape whatever it was as when I mentioned it inside the restaurant it was not addressed. For the price of the food I guess I expected a different level of service.

Lovely restaurant, food was delicious, especially the lamb chops. Loved the appetizers too. Rice pudding was great. My grandparents were from Turkey, very authentic food.

Reasonably priced place. Food was good. Dishes are of medium size.

I truly love this restaurant and their food. The service was amazing and the people were very nice. I’m not too sure what the people who left bad reviews were talking about, the food was authentic and the service was like as if it was in Turkey. I’m surely going to keep coming back

Love this place. Lentil soup, chicken Adana, anything with yogurt, zucchini pancakes and everything is so good and the servers are all really nice. My husband is Turkish and we couldn’t believe we have such a good Turkish place in the hood!

I was there few weeks ago. I only had spread breakfast.First of all, I have to say that I am very disappointed and I regret that I came all the way from Brooklyn to Piermont just to try Turkish breakfast at Kapadokya. Honey is in individual packages and tastes like something weird, definitely not honey, from a weird brand. The cecil cheese(type of string cheese) they brought was pretty outdated or was waiting outside of the fridge for days. Taste was super weird, we asked for them to change it.No black olive was served.Tea came to table very late when we were half full already.Totally, a very poor experience and very poor “spread breakfast”.Waitress was very nice, that’s why I am giving 3 stars, just for her.

After seeing reviews and pictures online I took my family here for a small celebration. I was surprised that when I ordered the salmon, it was much smaller than other pictures I had seen and came with a side salad which I didn’t ask for and wasn’t on the dish description- assumed was added once seeing how small the fish piece was. My husband got the lamb chops which were also pretty small, but at least came with rice. For $28, I was disappointed. The other dishes were generous and fine, just wish I knew not to get the salmon. Service was pleasant, albeit a bit slow.

Not attentive at all. I’ve tasted better Turkish food and no flavors at all. My husbands platter was warm not even hot or the food was left unattended for a while.
