Pier 701 Restaurant & Bar

So sad to see that Pier 701 has closed! Whenever we visited the US from the U.K, we always stopped off at this little gem as it was just beautiful. Staff were always pleasant, quick service and the views/location was ace. Hope it opens again soon (please!)

Hoping Pier 701 opens again soon! The best time of year for dining here is of course spring, summer and fall. The view is amazing and the staff are friendly. We usually sit at the outside tiki bar and enjoy some appetizers.

A Ex friend of mine and her boyfriend hung out there daily and they invited me to their home to help out with her out due to her breast cancer return which was only partially true, quickly I caught on I was there cause they were looking for me to pay rent!..Sadly as greed took over our friendship, and ended up costing me mentally and financially, but amazing my ex friend and boyfriend get everything free there for exchange for “stuff” we will call it… I believe whatever is going on at this place is as shady and dishonest just like Jeanie and Fred are…

Great place for a Friday nite to de-stress after a long week..

Parking: parking on side of restaurant..pizza was good..my bailey's on the rocks was slamming..views of the bridge & Hudson River awesome

I really liked the atmosphere on the water the way the restaurant was set up was cool kinda classy food was okay the waiter that took care of us was friendly but seemed kinda distracted talking to other patrons left us hanging a few times a guy sitting at the bar ended up helping us might have been the owner . Probably could improve service .

The room was really nice, and the view of the lit up Tappan Zee bridge over the Hudson River was terrific! The staff was friendly and very responsive.

Good vibes. Nice view of the water. Plenty of parking. Went for drinks and sat near the water. The drinks came out tasty for me and my friend. Poor bartender was by themselves for a while which resulted in slow service. She was very nice though so we didn’t mind too much. It’s a nice place to hang out and chill.

Great outdoor bar, right on the water with possibly the best view of the bridge in the area. Came here for an event recently and have made several trips back for a drink or early dinner.
