Rivertown closed in 2023. Pandemic hit them hard, they downsized their menu substantially, almost to sandwich shop level, and never really restored to the original. People stopped visiting and they finally shut down. Now it's Roka, a much better menu and very friendly helpful staff. I hope they thrive!
Good food, but overpriced. Every burger add-on or substitute is pricey. Friendly but inattentive staff. Burger was overcooked, but waiter was not present when food was served. I told the person who delivered the food that I wanted to check burger for doneness, but she did not wait. When I was half-way through eating, the waiter showed up to ask if everything was good, and didn't seem prepared for any answer but "yes". I said the burger was overdone. He asked what...
We come here frequently and for several years now. The staff is always friendly. We love the food and the relaxed atmosphere. Seating is ideal outside in the summer months and heaters are available in the fall. It’s cozy inside in the winter time by the fireplace. Well behaved dogs are welcome outside making this restaurant ideal for a walk around Piermont with its shops and amazing views of the Hudson River and the Tappan Zee bridge (colorfully lit at night). We highly recommend!
