Joe and I went here for lunch yesterday, I must say the place is beautiful inside. We both had a really delicious lunch. The waitress was so wonderful, sweet and very attentive. The owner and the chef came out to greet us. The meal was amazing the drinks and appetizer was delicious! I reccomend this place to all to try. 5 stars I give them! AMAZING!

Went with friends for lunch on Sunday and enjoyed the whole experience. It’s bigger and more welcoming inside than it appears on the outside. Service was excellent. Loved the cheese curds, burgundy burger and the fries (which are bottomless) were really good too. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing spot! Close to the parking lot near Sam's Point in Minnewaska State Park. Ridgerunner sandwich, OTR roast beef sandwich and French Onion Burger were delicious. Sweet potato fries were the best we have ever had! Good beers. This is our new local spot!

After our hike at Sam's Point, we stopped in just for cocktails. They have outdoor seating, the bar was very nice.

Food was good. Waited 45 minutes for it however and only two other tables were occupied. Waitress was nice but had to ask for silverware, napkins and condiments.

I honestly wanted to like this place more. But it just wasn't anything special. What first worried me was that the parking lot was empty as we were pulling in around 4:50ish on a Saturday. There was only 1 other couple in their besides us.

Anyways we ordered our drinks, apps, and meal at the same time. We ordered two waters and two beers. Our server (who was very nice) was only 17 and informed us she couldn't serve us alcohol so we had to wait for the owner to get free. It was about 8 minutes before we got our beers, but the server could have brought us our waters at least. They had forgotten about the waters and we had to ask for them again.

It took a half hour to get our apps, a bowl of French onion soup, and an egg roll. The egg roll was fine, nothing to rave about but fine. The French onion soup had raw onions in it, they needed at least another ten minutes of cooking time to properly caramelize.

What I couldn't believe is that after waiting a half hour for the apps, we were trying to eat and literally two minutes later they brought out our main dishes. Like honestly, can you give us 5 minutes to get into our apps? So now our small table was filled up with plates.

The burgers that we got were good, cooked right and had decent flavor, but I was hoping for more fries on the side. It was a little metal cup on the side of the plate with fries in it.

What did it for me was at the end when the owner came over to ask how everything was, we told her the soup wasn't right and the onions were still crunchy. She said she would take them off the bill, but then when she brought our bill 2 minutes later it was still on there. What was even more surprising about the bill, I asked for lettuce and tomato on my burger...and got charged .50 for the lettuce. For real? .50 for lettuce!?

Anyways the food was ok, but too many little issues throughout our night, and the restaurant itself is very plain and really nothing special. There's just no reason to go back.

The food was great, we ordered burgers(all American, burgundy and farm to table), rib grilled cheese and mexicali grilled chicken salad, the waffle fries was amazingly crispy and soft inside, we finished our food like it is gone by the wind?
We also met the owner/ cook he is great and his staff is very nice and sweet, she gave our dog water, they made us feel at home and comfy…
Highly recommend this place❤️ our boys says 10⭐️ for you guys…

Awesome place to eat! We hiked 10 miles at Sam's point and spotted this place on the way in. It's a diamond in the rough. The food was superb! One of the 3 of us got the French onion soup and he said it's THE best he's ever had. If you're coming this direction it's worth the stop for lunch or dinner.

Sunday morning breakfast was a hit. I got the sausage gravy and biscuits, and I’ve heard the chicken and waffles are good too. We had super nice servers too, Chloe and Andrea.
