While photographing wildlife at Shawangunk Grasslands National Wildlife Refuge, I had ask one of the local where he would suggest eating around here. To my surprise, he highly recommended a vegetarian restaurant called PURE CITY-淨都之鄉 ; which is located in the heart of Pine Bush, NY of all places. What a treat! We had asked another couple who were dining in at the restaurant what they would recommend - so we ordered what they suggested. Yum Yum Yum! Ítems that we ordered: - Wonton soup (v) - Miso Bean Curd Soup (v) - Barbeque Veggie Ribs (v) - Spicy Eggplant Casserole (v) - Mixed Diced Vegetable in Taro (v) - Mango Pudding (v) Everything was simply delicious. The owners inside are always so friendly, and I love the food here definitely a 10 out of 10 experience!

This food is phenomenal, I would become vegan if this place was closer to where I live. They have been consistent through my multiple visits with them and for the first time since the COVID era I can finally be inside their beautiful restaurant. The man that served me and I believe cooked my food was pleasant. Thank you guys for the amazing food and service!

Food was delicious for anyone. If you're not vegan or gluten free, you will still love the food. Cute little place and nice ambiance. The service was good.
Pure City is my favorite restaurant- though you cannot yet sit inside - they only have take out but it is well worth it. I love their veggie nuggets with orange sauce which has lots of vegetables mixed in it. Their plum tea is also another favorite with a side of their barbeque ribs which are vegan too. If you want to try something different and tasty that is still very healthy for you - then try Pure City - I bet, you'll love it too!
