Entered this location and immediately was greeted by what appeared to be our server but was in fact the owner. He quickly showed us to our table (which was very cramped) and gave us the menu and some chips and salsa. To start off the chips and salsa are the bread and butter of mexican restaurants, the salsa was almost certainly from a can and the chips were stale. He then proceeded to take our order and we ordered our drinks and then when ordering our food, we asked if the meal was big enough for two to share as we weren't very hungry. Instead of explaining how big the portion was or anything useful his response was simply "no". We ordered our 2 meals with this in mind and waited. We got our drinks; the margarita was very basic and too sugary, the apple juice was packed with ice which meant after 5 sips it was all gone, no refills. The wait was not overly long but when the food came out, we realized that the meal was big enough for 2 people and could have been shared. This made us feel a little peeved. This is also where we met our server, and she was very polite. The food was pretty standard, not bad but not great either. Overall, I would say that this is a good location to go for a quick spanish style meal, but I would not recommend if you were looking for something meaningful, for instance, taking out someone special for a meal.Something else I will mention, as mentioned in other reviews, the prices for beers are pretty excessive. 9dls for a beer as of writing. The same beer across the road at the hotel is around 6dls.

The reason I gave it 3 star was not because of the food or service, it's because of what they are charging for a Pacifico beer, $9 a bottle, really!! I do not mind paying extra, but this is just a rip-off. Better get real with pricing..

The best Mexican food in Rochester. From the chef to the owner, no words to explain the professionalism and courtesy of the place. Good job!A very satisfied customer.Parking: Lots of space.

Desafortunadamente, la comida es no comestibleAs a Mexicana, I desperately wanted to like this food because, according to the website, they are authentic, and with fresh ingredients. I received my food via DoorDash. The churros made me violently ill, there was a little to no meat con las fajitas, and looked old. The queso was watery and tasteless, the chips were stale, the only positive thing was the tortillas which did appear to be made by hand. That is the reason for the one star. El arroz y los frijoles son viejos y muy malos… no buenos y muy tristes. Thankfully, I was able to get half my money back from DoorDash. Gracias a DoorDash.

No bad for Rochester tacos. Not too authentic, but still tasty. My group placed a to go order which was ready on time and still hot when we got it back home. We ordered tacos carne asada.I have to eat gluten free and had the soft corn taco shells. Again, not the best tacos in Rochester, but they are not the worst. Not bad if you need something quick.

The food is incredibly small. I ordered a quesadilla for my mom for dinner and it came in a small sandwich size box. It was one tortilla folded over with very little filling. It was $11, plus with the grubhub fees and tip it came to $27+. It wasn’t even worth the $11. Much better quesadillas for your dollar elsewhere.

We had the Chori Pollo and Burrito Ranchero with the spicy sauce (it's good - definitely spicy)-- everything was delish. The place is on the smaller size but we did takeout. Would visit again!!

I travel a lot. Staying in Victor for 6 months. Had Mojeceta $22.99 charged me $24.99. No tortillas. Rice beans. Never had not served with many other places. Looked liked just thrown together. 2 shrimp and thin over cooked steak? Few chicken pieces. Lots of peppers and onion. Never saw anything like it. Pipping hot. Microwaved?? Simple very disappointing. Server very nice, but like mentioned over charged from what was on menu. No biggie deserve this review and will gladly not return.UPDATE: I looked at my bank account 6/6/23 saw charged over $32. So went in meet owner tried to explain and showed on menu order mojactete. $22 dollars said would call credit card company on their side. Called back said I didn’t order what said did. I pointed same thing out to him on menu as did server. Asked how could I be charged for what I didn’t order and up charged me for dinner never ordered. No answer. No help. Either one of two things here: 1) incredibly incompetent staff/owner 2) crook/cons.Now when I drive by I notice hardly any business to none. Shows. If that is how you run a business sad. I give this place less than a year and will be out of business. Worst Mexican food I’ve experienced in my travel throughout U.S.my advice avoid this place. Go to Taco Bell. Serious.

We went here on Cinco de Mayo. Waited a while for our food but I don't mind waiting if the food is worth it and it was. Certainly a small place that I've overlooked several times but will not in the future.Kid-friendliness: Our kids had fun here, staff was nice and accommodating to their needs. There was a small TV playing Mexican soap operas and they really enjoyed seeing that. Bonus. They even enjoyed their food.

Mediocre at best. I ordered this food through Grubhub and they did make my food spicy ?️ which I enjoyed but other than that this wasn’t anything special. I could have literally just made this myself and been more satisfied. Aside from that was that , I ordered a bean Chalupa and what I received was a tostada. This could have been my own error but hey that’s fine. I needed food for work and this worked but not again. For the value of my money it’s better spent somewhere else. Chips had no salt, salsa doesn’t even taste as if it was seasoned just taste like tomatoes smashed with a bit ofcilantro tossed in,chalupa was bland and poblano was spicy (??)

Lowest quality yet most expensive Mexican I have ever had. Prices on the menu were high, yet different menus had different prices. The worst was the actual quality. One burrito was supposed to have beans, none came. Just meat inside. Mold on children's burger bun. No cheese on our order, which matched the menu but it still is a surprise to miss a standard ingredient. Perhaps worst of all was the red sauce on the burritos and tacos. It was almost certainly some kind of spaghetti sauce with that chef boyardee kind of flavor. Waitresses were nice, but the cook had some rude comment about having a large family. We were charged more for using credit instead of cash. Kids menu was pricy. $12.00 per child. No drinks came with their meals which is pretty standard. It turned out to be less expensive for my kids to order two items off the adult sides menu. Strange! I don’t mind paying the price as long as the food is quality and made properly. The owner didn’t earn a second visit.
