Good-tasting food in a counter-service café with plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. My biggest complaint is that they don't have prices on the menu, and I didn't expect a sandwich to cost $18-something. For a place where you order at a counter, pick up your own food on a plastic tray, and bus your own table, I wouldn't expect these kind of mid-fancy restaurant prices

I've been eating at the Fruit and Salad Co. Since they had a cafe off of the food court at Marketplace Mall when I was 9. I still come back to order their chicken and rice soup.... 40 years later. Good food, always great quality.

My wife and I wanted to get a few salads and have never been here so we gave it a shot.

It’s a cool place and at lunch it’s like ordering at a Panera. You order at the counter and get a pager and when the order is up you pick it up. Ordering was easy with the menu directly behind the register area - they also had paper menus to look at if you wished.

I believe one of the owners took our order and he was a very nice guy we enjoyed speaking with him and he explained the pick up process to us.

I ordered a Cobb salad with chicken and added salmon to increase the protein of the salad. The dressing I chose was balsamic vinaigrette.

My wife ordered the Monterey Salad with chicken and the dressing that comes with it.

Both salads were good. The balsamic dressing was very oil forward and I prefer a vinegar forward dressing. I didn’t plan to use much of the dressing anyway so it wasn’t an issue for me. The dressing with the Monterey was vinegar forward and I liked this better.

I wanted more chicken on the salad for the price. I’m so glad I added the salmon which was very good and added the protein I wanted.

We ate outside on this beautiful day.

I’d return to this place future for a salad or to try something else.

Lovely full service dining experience for a casual restaurant. They even have cloth napkins! My only complaint is there's too much iceberg lettuce in the Towpath salad (not much romaine). I have dinner with a group of friends every month that includes a Deaf friend, and they have a server who knows ASL--what a blessing! And we love the lemon artichoke soup!

Service was fast and friendly (both Katrina and Josh), food was great (chicken French was outstanding and my brother’s pot roast also terrific) and came out quickly. I’m going to visit more often

Although the food was good, I found the establishment lacking in baby/kid-friendly amenities. There was no changing table, so I had to change my one-year-old on the bathroom floor. Additionally, the cashier was less than ideal/accommodating and didn’t explain where to get our drink cups or that we needed to pick up our bakery item ourselves. We had to return to ask these questions multiple times, which was quite frustrating

Kid-friendliness: No changing table

Baked fish dinner tasted like a warmed up dinner from the night before. Barely warm.

Just picked up takeout- was extremely late; however standing there the 25 minutes and watching 2 front end teenage boys swear and berate older co-workers was disgusting. Never again- too bad because the food is usually very good!
