Olives has been a regular go to place for us for years, both dine in and take out. The owner is very friendly and engaging. Unfortunately tonight will be our last time patronizing this restaurant. Saturday night craziness here with no where near the correct staffing to accommodate the volume of customers. Had 530pm reservations and were seated right away but then took an hour to get the server to take our order. It was equally as long to then get our food and, given I had a commitment, I had to leave my party and take my dinner (a salad) with me. Tall dark haired guy served us. Ask to sit somewhere else if you get seated in his section. Rude and disorganized. Salad came with waffle fries that were stone cold and it took him half an hour to bring me my dish in a take out container after explaining I needed to leave to relieve my 90 year old father’s caregiver. What was supposed to be a respite from a difficult week turned in to a stressful dinner with an incompetent server. Spend your money elsewhere.

The food is fresh, delicious, creative. The staff was very friendly, and were accommodating when I asked about vegan options.

I absolutely love this place. Cash or check only, keeps prices reasonable. I have yet to try something here I didn’t love. The avgolemono soup is a must try! The Melitzanoslata is delicious. I love the pizza options. All are amazing. Outdoor seating in the summer is a must! Fast service and the staff is so friendly!

Just know going in wine and beer are the only options. It was a bit stuffy inside. It rain and outside temperature was around 85°. Left before ordering

Olives is so-o-o good, I could just have the waitress bring me something she likes. Susanne is a gem. Its my favorite spot for 25 years. For this one, I request extra stars.

Great spot cozy inside and nice dusting outside on the patio. Laid back family business with a wide variety on the menu and specials. Crispy coconut shrimp with tzatziki.

Nice little place to eat. We were surprised by no CC on the wall. We would have ordered more to eat, luckily we had enough cash to order a bare minimum. They have an ATM but looked sketchy for us.

Website does not mention that they do not accept Credit cards :(

So good. We can't wait to go back! We visited on a nice spring day and chose to sit on the patio. We got appetizers - Greek fries and the Village Platter. So good! For our meals we got kreatopita, blackened salmon and a gyro. Incredibly good. Our waiter was a cook from the kitchen. He was knowledgable, friendly and very appropriately attentive to us. We are still talking about how much we enjoyed all of the food and the entire experience.

Olives is a Greek restaurant located next to the Erie Canal inside a block of unique artisian shops in Pitsford NY. The parking lot is a shared lot for the restaurants and shops. We dined for lunch on a weekday and the restaurant was busy although we did not have a wait time for a table and were seated immediately by our server who brought us menus and welcomed us. In the dining room a black board takes up the back wall space and it's where daily specials are placed for patrons convenience. We both ordered the Euro platter which had an assortment of meats home made pita bread grape leaves and rice. The platter was a large sized serving with plenty of extra food to bring home to enjoy for dinner. Appetizer of choice was the 3 dips with home made pita bread which was delicious. A order of Greek fries were added to our entree which were plenty to share. We both enjoyed the tomatoe and roasted pepper soup which was one of the soups which were offered. It was delicious with set my taste buds alive with the taste of roasted red pepper.I highly reccomend the Greek fries which were golden crisp and also sprinkled with plenty of good feta cheese. I'd also reccomend the Euro platter along with the 3 dip appetizer. Service was fast friendly and professional. Olives offered home made Greek food at its best! Also a nice assortment of desserts to choose from or maybe ordered to take home. Alcohol is served. My husband choice was a glass of Greek wine which he announced would be his choice next time we visit. Olives also offers a nice sized patio for outdoor dining. Thank you Olives for a most pleasurable dining experience. We look forward to another visit soon!
