Love stopping here while riding bikes on the canal. Great outdoor seating and great selection of beer.
Seven Story has a special place in our hearts and I’m sad to hear that it is closing. It’s a wonderful atmosphere - so wonderful that my husband and I came up with our first baby’s name here over several brewskis. It was a night we will always cherish. We will be back before closing and recommend that you check it out too. Best of luck to you all at Seven Story on your next chapter.
There are at least 30 breweries in Monroe County nowadays, and none quite have the atmosphere that this one has overlooking the Erie Canal. Great location, beer is decent, and cozy seating. One downside is the limited parking, but there is almost always some space in the parking lot a short walk along the canal. There is periodic live music as well.
Seven Story is one of my favorite breweries! I love that it is right along the canal, very scenic spot. They also have fire pits and string lights outside which is so cute!
Great place to visit and have a pint. Seating by a fire pit looking at the canal is my favorite part. The beers were on point. Very good service and atmosphere.
Stopped in and tried a flight. Sat out on the deck under the heat lamps and enjoyed the view. Nice selection of beers amd friendly servers and locals. Thanks guys keep up the good work.
Love the vibe with art decorating the walls and Adirondack chairs around a fire out front. The beer selection was perfect too. Highly recommend stopping by and taking in the views of the river.
Such a cute place by the canal. Love their Orange Cream Sour, it's my favorite!
Seven Story Brewing is a cool spot to stop and enjoy a beer. They have wine options available as well. On top of some tasty beers, they also offer a great view of the historic Erie Canal. There is a rear patio with heaters, Adirondack chairs and tables on either side of the building and also down below by the water. Firepits were scatter around as well. We picked a great autumn day to stop, relax and enjoy. One noteworthy item if you haven't been there before, is that there is limited parking (when they are busy). If you go just down the hill (just past the entrance), there is a small parking lot right on the canal. There is a trail that follows the canal, but also brings you right to Seven Story Brewing, so you don't need to walk on the busy road.
Drank good beer, watched football all afternoon (upstairs) and had a wide selection of food delivery options. Plus, the pup was allowed inside (good for the long Rochester winters). The James Taylor-esq guitarist that evening was an added bonus. Only complaint is the parking situation.

Fantastic craft beer and and fire pits along the Erie Canal.
Great atmosphere and beer. Went with a friend and DH. I would give 4.5 stars, but my phone won't let me. The fire pit by the building is just lovely. There is plenty of seating down by the river as well. They have a great balcony overlooking the river too. We tried the blonde ale, which was very good; smooth and delicious. We tried the lemon lime kolsch, which was very refreshing, but none of us tasted the lemon lime. They switched out the IPA while we were there and the new one was so juicy. Loved it, just can't remember the name. A must visit.
Great setting right on the canal!
Nice to see a sour on tap. Pretty good NEIPA for those who like them. Great band tonight called Swamp Moose. I'd go back there again.
What a amazing place for homemade beer and wine. On the canal chairs outside, live music when I was there. Great place
