Would be a 5 but there are no public bathrooms which seems sketchy to me because I thought all dine in establishmentts (they had seating prior to COVID) had to provide bathrooms. Prices compared to portions is insane but that's just the times we live in.

If you miss the old school Carvel definitely stop in! Not very appealing from the outside or location in this rundown strip mall but don't be fooled! Everything is just like your childhood.

Excellent value for especially the combo meal; 3 chicken tenders, a large lemon & lime slushy drink, fries & a pineapple sundae (wow - wie!) for like $8 bucks. Please don’t eat the sundae while driving, u may get ice cream on your nose! Feel like a kid again. I prefer the tradition vanilla since I think it forms the basis of all their flavors.

Best Carvel I’ve ever been to. Cups were always fully filled, amazing size and always extra portion for toppings. Clean and friendly. Have to wait a little longer on Wednesdays but who would say no to BOGO sundaes!

Finally a normal Carvel store open this area. Why have I always passed it by? Three fast paced staff moving orders fast. All the ice cream and toppings looked normal. Unlike Syosset the Carvel from he**. After going to Plainview I'm Old Country and seeing a standing room only and two tired workers while the owners did other things. I just left and came here. Normal. Bright. Clean. Large store friendly. All the toppings not like Syosset always out of half the toppings. Just an all around oasis's for quick ice cream in this area.

Carvel was an ice cream franchise chain that had several locations around the country, but presently I believe they are half the size in store locations than their best years. If you all are Carvel Ice cream junkies from the past, one would remember that gravel-voiced owner Tom Carvel who once advertised their selective products such as Fudgie the Whale, Flying Saucers and Cookie Puss. Presently there are all kinds of ice cream chain retailers with a dominant presence that have a self-serve process with topping stations, then pricing the cup of ice cream/yogurt by weight. The fun of buying ice cream/yogurt is there for our new generations of children, but the parents and grandparents are paying the high price of ice cream/yogurt entertainment. My favorite ice cream parlor will always be Carvel. I love their flavors of ice cream, quality taste and most of all reasonable prices.
