Worst experience yesterday, 10/5/25. I ordered a bubble waffle with strawberry ice cream. There were hardly any customers in the store. I waited 20 minutes and was getting ready to ask for a refund and leave. I asked what was going on. A few minutes later they start making the waffle. They made it with vanilla ice cream. I said I asked for strawberry. The guy looked at the label and it said vanilla. I said whatever, I’ll just take it. I didn’t want to risk waiting another 20 minutes.

Then I heard the guy ask the girl who took my order, “did they ask for strawberry?”. And I heard her reply, “yes, but there’s no option for that.” He said to her, “did you tell them?”.She said no.

Is this how you run a business? Terrible service. If they had at least apologized I would have extended some grace and let it go. But there was no apology.

Best Bubble Tea on Long Island :) Peiyao is so sweet and the boba tea is always to my liking!! I recommend the taro boba

the hours online and the hours on the literal door say they close at 10 pm but they padlock the door hours before that. It’s 8pm now and the last time this also happened it was 5pm and the situation was the same inconvenience. This happens at this location only and so I will not be coming back.

I ordered green tea with 30% sugar, it was still extremely sweet. I never experienced this with the other branches. Will not recommend.

I had a terrible experience at this Gong Cha today. I was served a drink with a hole in the bottom of the cup, which leaked all over my hands and clothes before I even realized what was happening. It’s honestly shocking that something this basic could be overlooked. How does this even happen? Did the person making my drink not notice it leaking while preparing and handing it to me? The drink must have been dripping all over the counter—how clueless do you have to be to miss that?

At first, it was just a small crack in the bottom of the cup, so I didn’t notice right away. But since I ordered an extra-large drink, the pressure eventually caused the bottom to fully give out, spilling the entire drink all over me and the floor of my friend’s house. Completely unacceptable. I expected way better quality control and attention from a place like Gong Cha, since this is one of my favorite boba places to go.

But anyways, like my visits, the flavor of the drink itself was good The atmosphere of the place just gives a nice peaceful welcoming mood. This would normally would be a nice drink for me to enjoy from my favorite boba place if the bottom of the cup didn't literally break apart and spill.

peach green tea with coconut jelly is probably the best drink among all. it was very crowded in the store and we waited for a very long time, its understandable but i think there should be more employees

The employees at this location are consistently rude and inattentive. Every time I place an order, there’s always a problem, and the staff seem indifferent. I visit about four times a week and spend around $13.80 for two medium drinks, but I won’t be coming back. Good customer service is essential for a business, and if it doesn’t improve, I doubt this location will last. I hope the manager takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes. Clean the tables they are always dirty and sticky! Yuck!

The quality has gone down lately. The last drink I got here the boba was just mush. It was way overcooked. Which also took away any flavor that’s supposed to be in the tapioca pearls.
