Overall a very nice dining experience. Service and food was very good. Ordered the shrimp scampi with linguine. Delicious dish, nicely seasoned and tasted great. For a Sunday night, the restaurant was busier than expected and was extremely noisy. We had a large party of 20 or so people with young children sitting right next to us. This was the only downside and we wished we had been seated elsewhere. The noise level from this one table plus the little ones getting a bit rambunctious took away from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. Would still come back again to Iavarone - definitely worth another try.
Iavarone is a beautiful restaurant. The ambience was nice. The food was so good. I got lobster and shrimp with angel hair pasta. It was delicious and full of SO much lobster and shrimp. Great place!!
Server got distracted with other server chit-chat and as nice as she was, she had to be summoned 2 or 3 times to follow up.
Great food, great service at reasonable prices. Dinner specials were generous portions. Servers are friendly and responsive. Restaurant is clean and modern. Second time there and we'll be back.
The server and waitstaff were really nice and helpful. The food was good, but not great- some at our table liked their food better than others. (Nothing was terrible, just not that great). The one thing that was bad was that not dinners were served at the same time -so in an effort to be polite, some of us wound up with cold food. There are many very good Italian restaurants on Long Island - with that being said I felt that this restaurant was somewhat pricey for the experience and so-so food.
Ty great,

I've been here a handful of times. The pizza is decent. But my last time here, which was about 20 minutes ago, is what I'm rating. I walked in and was waiting for about 5 minutes with no acknowledgment. They helped someone who came in after me and still no acknowledgment. I was on my 30 minute lunch break.

Food good, Service not so good
We were seated promptly but no setup(silverware). We waited, but no one brought one. When asked for a setup they brought paper napkins. Everyone seated around us had linen napkins. We had to ask again to finally get them.
Bread was brought out, but no butter. Had to ask for it as well for salt and pepper. Staff didn’t notice or seem to care.
These aren’t big issues, but when your evening starts this way, it sets the tone for the rest of the night.
Food was good.

WE ate in the dining room and multiple people at my table said place had the feel of a diner.
We had been here before but sat in the back room which has a nicer feel.
As for the food. They have taken all veal cutlet dishes off the menu and the spaghetti squash as alternative to pasta. The waitress said she was suprised . I called the manager over and his answer was .....
"WE sell 800 lbs of chicken a week and werent selling 10lbs of veal so we stopped."
Utter nonsense and clearly a decision based on margins of chicken dishes vs veal. I was very disappointment not to be able to get a veal dish and equally disappointed to be lied to.
I wanted to leave but group of 6 voted to stay . We found alternative items to order but 4 of our 6 dishes were served cold/room temperature even after we said we like our food hot in temperature.
They did fix the temperature of the food and give us free desert. The food even hot was nothing great. There are so many superior italian food places in the area . We will definitely not be back!!

Large portions and delicious food. The bread is fantastic and worth skipping aps. We had the calamari which was a surprisingly large portion, not oily but very well battered. I had the lamb chops and wife had the lobster penne pasta. We really enjoyed it. It does get loud at times when busy.

Large group following a funeral.
Accommodations were easy to make and to be able to comfortably seat and serve all the guests is a credit to the staff.
On a difficult day for my family this was a pleasure.
