I had a great experience with the chicken wings. Each wing was perfectly crisp and flavorful. I chose the level 2 spice sauce, which had just the right amount of heat without overpowering the taste.
By the time I finished the last wing, I was full and completely satisfied. The price was more than fair for the quality and portion size. The only minor downside was the Cajun fries. They were cooked well, but the seasoning lacked the punch and depth I was hoping for. A bit more boldness in flavor could have made them match the wings’ power.

First time trying this Pelicana location. I’m happy that LI has one but was disappointed with the experience. Chicken was good though our spicy crispy chicken was not spicy and I’ve had better budae jigae at their Forest Hills location. Service was terrible - slow and forgetful. We flagged someone down whenever we needed something but had to remind them a few time. I saw a couple at the table next to us just get up and leave after no one came to take their orders and the restaurant wasn’t even really that busy at that point.

I ordered 24 grilled barbecue wings. I was given spicy barbecue wings which were not edible by anyone in my house. Because we don't eat spicy food. I called to report the issue and was told 1) their regular BBQ wings are spicy which I didn't see indicated. 2) when I advised my order was for BBQ and the receipt attached to my bag said spicy BBQ, the only resolution I was given was to drive back to the restaurant to get a new order or to get a free side sauce on my next order. The location is on my way home from work and not near my house. So the option of being given a new order was not realistic. Wasted $55 and a lot of food. Never again!

In my personal experience, the service here can feel slow and disorganized. During my visits, I waited quite a while for my order, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. When I asked about the delay, the interaction felt less helpful than I’d hoped. It also seemed like communication between the front counter and the kitchen wasn’t very smooth, which may have contributed to the wait. My food was eventually placed on the counter for pickup, but the handoff felt a bit impersonal.
This is just my impression, but I think it’s helpful for others to know that they will be getting into. Be ready to waste anywhere from an hour to even two. There are plenty of competitors who will treat you better too.
