TLDR: For the price, this location lacks quality, quantity, and value. Drove past here one afternoon, decided to stop in. One table getting up to leave, and a couple looking at the menu at the counter. We were seated, and after reviewing the menu, made our choice. We waited for a waiter but none in sight. There was one person at the counter in front who didn't look back once, and was standing there waiting while the customers were still looking at the menu. There were 0 other customers seated. After about 10 min, we got up and left because we had somewhere else to be and were getting pretty hungry, knowing the order would take at least 25 min to prepare. Disappointing. We did end up getting take out another time and was disappointed again by the teeny tiny wings that were dry and not worth the price. I have never seen wings this small in my life. There was barely any meat on them, and the $40 box looked half empty when we opened it...just a saucy mess. The sauce was decent, so they get 2 stars for that. They were also stingy with the sides. Had such high hopes but was sorely disappointed twice.

Got there when they were just opening and they were still prepping but it was as expected. Delicious food, probably the best Korean on the island, flavorful greasy dirty food you eat while you drink beer and watch the game. It's pretty clean for what it is and most of the food is take out, loved it and definitely coming back for the chicken and side dishes. Servers didn't seem to be very familiar with the routine but they were super nice and accommodating to my friend's baby who came with us.

He is simply awesome. I highly recommend this place. Food is a bit pricey so increase the portion a bit. It will be perfect!

I ordered some chickens and sides last Sunday. Food was good except the sweet potato fries that was overcooked.The original extra crispy chicken was 5/5. It was good with mild Sweet and spicy sauce on the side.The soy garlic wings was 3.5/5. It is because wings were too small.The chicken thighs was 4/5. I didn't like that chicken thighs were chopped in small pieces. Also, extra crispy breading would've been better than the original breading.French fries 5/5, mochi cheese donuts 5/5, Onion rings 5/5, Sweet potato fries 2/5.Overall, I would definitely reorder from the Pelicana, Plainview for sure. Hope they do better on Sweet potatoes fries next time.

Had to stop in to try the infamous Pelicana chicken and it definitely lived up to the hype. The place itself has a nice vibe - perfect for brunch - and the chicken is as good as they say. Crunchy and tasty, with just the right amount of seasonings. The slaw in the sandwich was the perfect touch. The fries were delicious - crispy and also perfectly seasoned. My only gripe; it is a bit pricey. They don't have a lunch menu. But otherwise it's a great place for dinner.

My daughter wanted to give this place six stars. Too bad it's not an option. Amazing food. My twelve year old and I continued our 100% success streak of being told by servers at Korean restaurants that we may have ordered too much. Glad we did. We had the rice cakes. Amazing. Note that a 2 is still very spicy. Order accordingly. We got the cheese balls. Sooo good. The sausage stew and the chicken wings as well. Everything had ridiculously good flavor and couldn't be beat. We loved it. And the servers were incredibly nice. Solid atmosphere too. Definitely worth making the trip and trying it out. Oh I forgot. The mango and peach lemonades were delicious as well. We can't wait to come back.

Mochi donut cheese balls def recommend? been here a couple times. Soy garlic wings are my favorite, tried the half fried chicken extra crispy with honey garlic this time. Service was outstanding, super attentive and friendly. +++

I went with a big group and ordered the boneless breast with green onion, spicy rice cake, wings, avocado cajun shrimp salad, truffle fries, onion rings, and twisted mochi donuts.All the dishes were good and they used fresh ingredients.10/10! ?
It's already the 3rd time... I asked for non-spicy food, but one of the wings was non-spicy and 12 pieces of wings were spicy.Why on earth do you do that...And the size of the chicken seems to be getting smaller. Is it possible to buy chicks and fry them?

I got the extra crispy spicy half chicken and it was delicious! You can get different degrees of spicy. They are on point to which level you choose. Outside was crispy and inside was tender and juicy. I also got the spicy calamari. Very generous portion and very crispy/ light tasting coating and didn’t taste oily. Squid was cooked perfectly. My second time going and will go back in the future.

So good. The white powder cheese wings & beef dumplings were amazing. Service was great, our waiter JP was very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend.
