Venue is cute, looks great for parties and the space is pretty open including the play area. However, like some of these reviews and generally speaking about open play areas, your experiences with the kids and adults can vary. In my one visit, I can say these adults can act worse than their kids. Communicate to the kids, make them understand they all have to share and the underlying kindness in doing so and wait to see how they respond. These kids can barely talk, yet you’re carrying out the physical action because you want to defend your kid. Move to another spot, wait your turn, move on, there are many other toys. Or toughen up your kid, but I guess they’re not built the same anymore nowadays, at least not like mine.

They certainly know how to throw a children's party.

I took my children here for the first time and was quite disappointed at how they dealt with irresponsible parents. They promote “kind vibes only” but do nothing about kids that aren’t kind. There were a few boys that were dumping all the toys on purpose repeating “mess it all up,” snatching toys from other kids, bumping into others without apologizing, in short misbehaving the whole time. The moms were sitting outside sipping on their coffee doing nothing about it. So I asked them to control their children since they are too rowdy. They pretended they didn’t hear me. I wonder if they thought their children were so entitled to do anything they wanted since they paid to get into this place. Anyways, since they didn’t care to listen to other moms who were using the place, I think the employees there should have stepped in. Those boys were clearly very loud and in everyone’s ways (playing quite dangerously too—jumping off of structures). I think they need to implement more rules so everyone can happily and safely share the facility.Other than that, they have nice set of toys (mostly wooden toys), pretend-play areas, and a playground set. Food was quite nice too.

Not so great coffee, and the cups were too cheap to hold liquid.

I had my daughter’s first birthday party at the Social Play Haus and it was PERFECT!! We had the 3 hour catered event with over 50 adults and 10 children of all ages. Everyone had such a great time! We received so many compliments on the atmosphere and food, and the best part is that Marc and team thought of every single detail to make it so easy for us!! From the amazing decor matching my Pinterest vision to ordering the cake and even having a signature drink, they truly made the planning and execution so easy. I would HIGHLY recommend the Social Play Haus for anyone planning future events - you are in great hands here!

This place delivered!!! They did an excellent job from beginning to end. The decorations, food & theme was perfect! Yes, lack of communication was a little annoying however we're all busy people and have a lot going on. The staff was attentive and super friendly.I would definitely have another party here :)

Refreshing Play Place.Social Play Haus is an indoor play place with soaring ceilings. There's an repurposed industrial hipster-ish vibe here. It feels like it belongs in Brooklyn. I'd recommend this play for small children. There are several different sub areas in the play place which may keep your child from being bored. The play area feels clean and safe. There are many picnic tables available in the space. They offer a few food items, such as French toast sticks, flatbread and chicken sandwiches. The food tastes like most of the items come out of a box. The chicken cutlet in the sandwich almost certainly isn't made fresh but screams processed patty to me. The beer on tap on the other hand is extremely cold and refreshing. Overall this place is worth a visit with a family with toddlers. Don't expect to be blown away by the food, and the prices aren't cheap either. However, the staff have been consistently friendly and accommodating. Where else can you watch your toddler have fun while drinking a nice cold beer at 10am? It's a breath of fresh air for thirsty parents and toddlers.

I took my son here and he had a blast. This 2 year old was playing with everything and climbing around. It's a gated area so the kids don't run out the door. I also got food that tasted great, and get the Ube Latte-delicious! They serve beer but because I was pregnant I didn't have. But they had a good selection of beer.

Attended a toddler’s birthday party. If you are a kid, this has a safe, clean play space that all enjoy. They will do a party theme it seems for a specific party. What was astonishing was the bar and the adult food. This is a concept that cries out for a franchise opportunity. The kids have fun and interact with parents and there is a lively party atmosphere. If you want an alcoholic drink, wine, beer, cappuccino and great coffee beverages you can get that too. This was unique in the best way

**updated in response to Jenni's & Marc's comment. We reached out to them 3 days after the event via email, not a whole month after the event. Regardless of when, doubt that they'd have met us half way. They simply asked for more feedback... There was no resolution. We recently hosted our daughter’s 1st birthday party at Social Playhaus in June. I was on the fence about leaving a negative review but after following up with Marc and Jenni and being very disappointed with our experience, I found it necessary to give others insight. We were really excited to host our daughter’s birthday party at Social Playhaus because of what they had to offer — not only was there a play area for the children but there was also an area for the adults to socialize, drink and eat. Despite this, there were several areas where Marc & Jenni fell short.Prior to the event, Marc had reached out to me via email to let me know that he’d be calling me the week of 5/23 or early the following week to discuss details. After sending 2 emails and still not hearing back from him, I decided to call him myself to try to hash out the details. I guess that was the first red flag…We went with their platinum party package (starts at $2500 + 20% admin fee). Their platinum package includes extra themed decor, themed decor and tableware on children’s. Food and drinks are additional. We spent about $4300.We went with ice cream theme for our celebration. The “extra” themed decor… was lacking. Besides the ice cream plates I had requested for for the children’s table, the only other ice cream decor were some balloons on the photo wall. I thought the balloon garlands were done well. But other than that, there didn't seem to be much thought or effort put into the "theme decor" The ice cream plate taped over the donut board showed minimal effort at best. With their package, you’ll receive cupcakes for each child. The cupcake frosting was hard, an indication that they were not fresh. My friend had made some cupcake toppers for the cupcakes. We had to really push hard to get the toppers in. Another one of my guest told me that when she accidentally dropped the cupcake in the parking lot, the frosting didn’t even change form! Included in the package, you’ll also receive a donut board with 2 dozen assorted donuts - the donuts also didn’t look very appetizing. A guest told me they tasted stale. I later found out from Jenni that the donuts are from Tim Horton's, not a local bakery, not made in house but Tim Horton's! Please, if you decide to go with Social Playhaus for your event and paying that much, ask for better donuts, you and your guests deserve better! The party favors that were placed on the children’s tables were sunglasses that looked like they were leftovers from a previous party. They kept falling apart whenever the kids tried to put them on. My mom was desperately trying to just put pieces of the sunglasses back on for my daughter.A few of our guests did not get to eat the chicken francese and eggplant parm because the trays weren't replenished in a timely manner, they had thought the food had run out.We had high expectations when we chose Social Playhaus as the venue to host our daughter’s first birthday celebration. Sadly, what was expected wasn't delivered. And what we paid certainly did not match the quality of the desserts/decor/favors we received. After speaking to Jenni, she offered to comp our tickets to a future events of theirs. But with all due respect and honesty, after our experience, why would we want to come back? There were aspects of the party that felt like they wanted to spend as little as possible… such as dum dum pops at the dessert table. Jenni said if I had said something during the event then they would have been able to remedy the situation then… but how can you expect us to hash out details DURING the event while we are attending to guests or our kids? Are you really going to replace the cupcakes and donuts with fresh ones? Put some more decorations on the donut boards? Put out new favo

Absolutely love this place! Our kids have a great time! Their food, drinks and coffees are delicious! We love that we are big to sit back enjoy soemthing to eat/drink and keep an eye on our kiddos. Definitely thinking of hosting their bday party there. Playground is so clean and well maintained. Staff is so helpful as well! Our kids can make a big mess when eating so as I got down to clean up after them staff came right over said no worries and cleaned it up.

Amazing small business run by incredible people. Let it be known, I do not have a kid, BUT I come here for the truly delicious food & drinks. The owners are truly in a class of their own. They posted on their social media today about their affogatos - and I RAN (ok, I drove haha) and it did not disappoint! Everyone, PLEASE go support this place! Whether you have kids or not - these are the kinds of spaces we NEED in our community!
