Sesame chicken was completely overcooked. Was tiny pieces of over breaded dark meat chicken which was inedible. Fried rice was undercooked and hard. Would not go again.

We just ordered broccoli chicken, broccoli beef and broccoli pork with some fried rice and noodles. Every bite of broccoli had sand grain. Called the restaurant the lady who answered phone had an audacity to say we were lying and food was perfect. We never had such bad experience from any restaurant. Please do no buy food from there as you cannot trust with extremely poor customer service.

Came here first time in a long time. Was not happy at all spent over $50. The orange chicken was hard and over cooked. The shrimp toast was burnt to a crisp and beyond. I called to see if they could send over a new order as we are only about three miles away.The woman on the phone tells me that the shrimp toast is not burnt but made that way to make sure the inside is cooked. And would not be doing anything. I am in a wheelchair and my girlfriend is visually impaired. She was at church so I made my way to the restaurant and when the woman saw the burnt toast she had offered to give me a new order. I guess with my twenty five years of restaurant and hotel cooking with a degree in Culinary Arts at one of the best College’s in the country I can still tell when something is burnt.The rest of the order was subpar to other Chinese takeout in the area so I know I will never come back here again. From what I see in other reviews it is hit or miss here. I had a big miss. Save yourself the good chance for some bad food and look elsewhere. You have been advised.

Placed an order at 6:30 pm, told to come in 30 mins, I arrived after 40 mins just to be safe and not a single one of my 5 dishes were ready. Took another 30 mins, so 70 mins for and order that they said I should pick up in 30.

If I could give lest then that it would be no star. Driving distance from the Star Kitchen to my place was 6min I received my order after more then hour. (It was two chicken lo main)Didn't get wat I want. I wasn't lunch specificall but the large portion which I didn't want. Never order again from that place

Used to go there many years ago even twice a week was different ownership. The food was great. Now the food is on the very low end of the scale for Chinese food food. Shrimp with lobster sauce was more like soup it should be nice and thick but it wasn't. Everything else mediocre at best. They do deliver which is a plus but everyone does nowadays. I would encourage them to focus on improving their food.

First time ordering from here and the last time ordering from here. Placed a big order of 2 orders of shrimp toast and shrimp with lobster sauce combo and other things. Shrimp with lobster sauce should be called shrimp with water sauce. Was so runny we threw it out. They gave us 1 little container of duck sauce for everything. Not even enough for 1 egg rollSpent $50.00 for this foodWas horribleWill never order from here again

It appears that Star Kitchen has had a turnover of ownership or chefs again. This was our favorite place for chinese food when we moved to the area in 2010. Tonights order was a disaster. Everything was made vegetarian (we did not order this) fried items were steamed and NO RICE was given with the order.And when we called to address this with the employee they admitted that the chef made a mistake and had no explanation or apology for the missing items.Sad when a good place gets this bad
