Awesome cakes. They work with you to design the most perfect cake. BUT, MOST importantly ,they'll make the cake design you want and make it taste amazing. Usually cakes that look great taste horrible, but this place makes fresh cakes that taste amazing. We've gotten a few cakes from Sweet Karma over the years, and they never disappoint.

The desserts here are absolutely incredible, showcasing not only delightful flavors but also an impressive level of artistry. Brian’s talent with cake design is truly remarkable—each creation is a masterpiece that tastes just as amazing as it looks. Whether you’re a fan of classic flavors or adventurous combinations, there’s something here to satisfy every sweet tooth. With such delicious offerings and exceptional craftsmanship, it’s hard to imagine anyone not falling in love with this place. It’s the perfect spot for dessert lovers and anyone looking to indulge in a little edible art!
The entire process of ordering a cake was seamless and enjoyable, thanks to the helpful staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that all my preferences were understood and incorporated. They patiently answered all my questions, offered creative suggestions, and made me feel confident that my vision would come to life.
What truly surprised me was the pricing. Not only were their cakes stunningly designed and delicious, but the prices were also significantly more affordable compared to other bakeries in the area. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of quality, artistry, and value.
10/10 recommend. I’d love to see the critics try to make something even remotely as stunning and delicious as these cakes—because we all know they couldn’t if their lives depended on it. It’s not just baking; it’s an art form, and the level of skill here is way out of their league. Stay salty, because these cakes are serving nothing but sweet perfection.

This was a second attempt for me, trying Sweet Karma for a Specialty birthday cake. I will say that the service both times was very responsive and extremely friendly, and both cakes were very, very delicious. However once again, there were either mistakes on the cake or areas where they did not put design elements discussed. Additionally there were way too many noticable areas of extreme low quality, almost like a child made it (which may be true as a young boy did come out of the back with sugar and/or flour on him asking if I was being helped) that could not be altered at the time of pickup and which I had to eventually pay for. This is not what should be expected for the the high cost you're paying for a cake that's supposed to be of a higher quality. Also as a mentionsble, the bakery itself just didn't feel warm or inviting. You know when you walk into a bakery and are hit with delicious smells, bright warm lighting, easy going music, and just an overall cheerful atmosphere? Well, you'll only get the delicious smells here. Highly highly recommend for small cakes, cookies, and pastries but absolutely caution if you're thinking about something Specialty or expensive.

Great cakes and delicious desserts! I ordered a birthday cake for my son, however my only complaint was the staff: a little rushy and rude. As I am going through the reviews, I notice the owner is replying with defensive and aggressive responses. I love the food, you’re artists are absolutely talented and the desserts are delicious, but I think that the staff can be more welcoming:) ❤️

Worked with them to order a specially designed cake for a friend’s birthday. The cake came out beautifully! Exactly what we were expecting. It was also decadent and delicious! I loved that communication was so easy and prompt; emails were responded to rather quickly. Would certainly look forward to working with this bakery again in the future. I thank them for their effort, expertise, and professionalism.

I ordered a custom cake for my wife's birthday. She's a lawyer, loves music and wine - and I have to say the team at Sweet Karma came through with a beautiful cake that brought our idea to life.
Very detailed, and priced well for us. The best part - the cake was delicious! Sometimes you order these custom cakes and they look great but don't taste as good as they look.
Sweet Karma impressed us - and we'll be back. Thank you for a great cake and helping to make our night very special.

Used sweet karma for a second time for our younger sons bar mitzvah cake and could not be more pleased. Not only was the cake gorgeous looking and exactly what he wanted, but the taste was just as spectacular. Even set up a tasting beforehand so we can be sure if what he liked. People are also awesome and delivered on time. Give them a try, you won't be sorry. Thank you again!!!
HOLY COW! What a cake they made me for my mom’s surprise 60th Elvis Presley themed birthday party! The staff and cake decorator really know how to put a cake together. From the flavors, colors, sayings, and designs!!! YOU MUST check out sweet karma desserts if you’re ever on the island. I was amazed when I walked in there, but then when I opened my own cake!!! WWWOOOWWW. Only issue I had was the birthday girl wanted the car TAKE HOME ?? but it got eaten at the party. So I had to call back to hope and pray the cake decorator wouldn’t mind making one more pink Cadillac rice crispy car with incredible fondant work. This bakery MADE my party and I couldn’t thank them more. I mean look at this thing!!! He even added pictures from a family trip from Graceland to tie it all together. 20/10! Thank you thank you again!!!!!!

Sweet Karma - huge disappointment! I ordered a GF birthday cake and 2 jelly donuts on Friday to pick up today. They lost the order. After keeping me waiting for about 10 minutes, they were able to give me the cake. But no jelly donuts. I didn’t want anything else so I asked for a refund. My options were to wait until til Tuesday for a manager or call GrubHub. I asked for some type of receipt saying they owed me a refund. Couldn’t do that. Then a man comes out from the back yelling at me to get out of his store. At that point I got angry and yelled back at him. Finally one of the girls working there offered to call GrubHub for me. Then they found the order and said I ordered regular jelly donuts (which I didn’t) so she gave me 2 regular jelly donuts and I left.I ordered on their website site and they’re telling me I have to call GrubHub to get a refund and then be rude about it. I like their cakes but I will never go back there.Terrible customer service.

I enjoyed my first week or so working here until I picked up on a few things. I've gotten nothing but broken promises, no opportunity of growth or anything that would help me excel in my baking/pastry career besides "tips". I was let go for no valid reasoning and I have never experienced this in my entire years of working respectfully. I did enjoy working with my co-workers which made work more enjoyable as well as the paid lunches which was a bonus. Otherwise, management can be very cheap, i've noticed a sense of favoritism and a "what say goes" type work environment, no benefits which include health/dental care and only paid vacation until after a year. I didn’t enjoy the behind the scenes gossip and i felt as if the management is a tad racist. I took a recipe off the wall and he told me to not take things off the wall and too hang it back up like a “Dominican” (since that’s my background) and other little remarks as in “all black markers matter” when asked for a sharpie which i found very shocking.. i found the one of the managements continuously talks negativity regarding his past employers regardless of experience working their, good or bad, the back of the work area has a listening device to hear conversations when management is in the office which was confirmed by one of the cashiers up front.
