...to add insult to injury : the entire excuse was fabricated! no cookies were ever received (the owner said they left "last Saturday" and were "out for delivery" when I called. To tell an untruth is worse than the error. "OMG, I forgot!" would have been human. To lie compounds the situation and now I will share on Facebook and Twitter, also.

I have shopped there many times . Their selection is great and they are always polite and willing to help . I have gotten gifts from them and the recipient always commented about how lovely the gift was .

Shame on me. I knew better than to shop here but I did anyway. My daughter's camp decided we could ship a care package. I only had 1 day to mail it before I left for a trip so I ran into Sweet Spot. I was preoccupied with a work call and didn't pay attention when I was checking out. Handed my card over and paid. They put the receipt in the bag and I went back to work. When I looked at the receipt it wasn't itemized. It was over $70. I added up everything with price tags and it came to about $35. The unmarked items were small pieces of Candy. Not $40 worth. I called the store and asked for an itemized receipt. They don't give them. The owner said he would check and get back to me but he was sure it was right. Never heard from him. Bad business. I felt bad for them when Sugar Crazy opened near them but I don't now. Go to Sugar Crazy. It's bigger, waaaaaay more stuff, better prices and the owner isn't nasty. Sweetie's Candy Cottage had way better prices too and they're super nice.

I ordered a shirt for camp for my son 7 weeks ago. I knew these things take time as their customized for the camp but i did not know it would take this long. I called earlier this week to get an update, and they didn't seem to recall that I had ordered a shirt (they remember me as having ordered and already picked up a blanket). They said they needed to pull up my order and would call me right back. I waited and then finally called them back 2 days later in which when I said my name, they said they still needed to pull up my order. I believe they lost my order and never sent it in to have the shirt made. Rather than just be honest with me, they strung me along until I finally realized I had their text info since they had sent me a proof of my blanket. Only on text, did the guy say the Vendor they use "must" have lost my order. This is unprofessional business and i would be hesitant to use them again although the blanket does look great. I would give them no start but you have to give one to get posted.

The customer service and staff are some of rudest employees of an over priced candy store. I ordered a Valentine's Day gift to be shipped in late January. Not only did they never received the package but when I called, they told me it was lost. When calling asking for a refund they refused and told me there is nothing they can do. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There are many more candy stores on the north shore that would be happy to take your business.

Wow! Wow and more wow. Some-things really are worth the line! This hidden gem is absolutely out of this world for gifts, personalized treats and hard to find candy. The choices are endless. They are clean, over stocked, ready to wait on your requests with smiling eyes! Reasonable with prices, freshest pretzel,nut and snack platters. A must try for holidays, birthdays, christening, bar/ bat mitzvah, graduations. You'll have the nicest looking presentation. Centrally located off LIE, Northern sky and 135 expressway. Parking ample.
The owners and the staff of the Sweet Spot are the kindest nicest sweetest, no pun intended, people that I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with, they are so accommodating and wonderful, as I told them when I was in the store last week, this is truly my happy place, they make everything so happy, and easy, and everything they’ve ever sent anyone for me, has truly been amazing, I become a hero Every time somebody receives a package or basket from Sweet Spot, I love them all so much and I thank them for always being there, yours truly stacy falk

I have been on here a few times and find the selection of gift items for children is very good but the owners don't acknowledge you unless you are a regular. When you walk in you are nonexistent. They should be a little friendlier to all their customers, not only the regulars. Went in again one year later and with 4 people working there is still no help offered. When i asked for something they said it had to be ordered and that was it. They are not getting my money.
