Absolutely love the brand. What a selection. Never disappointed. Just feel the prices should come down a little.

I came in to get a cake and asked for writing on it. They had run out of the chocolate pieces that they use to write on, so they asked of I was willing to wait, which I was. The wait was a little longer than expected, which I was fine with, but the staff apologized anyways and gave me a pastry to have in the meantime. They were really nice and attentive, such a great experience!

The bayside location is run by a very toxic manager named Kat. She is going to get this company sued for her behavior. She threatened me numerous times through the eight months I worked there. She uses fear mongering to “manage” employees. She has talked down to almost all my coworkers. There has been many times we did not receive breaks and work past our time with no gratitude shown. There is no respect and she gets away with highly illegal threats. If I took another sick day I would get fired (illegal). If I spoke to a coworker during down time, I would get fired. Threat after threat and I never called out and I deserved respect and appreciation, not a toxic work environment. Stella should be running the store, she is way more professional. I feel bad for all the friends I made there that were talked down to. In my 18 years of working, I have never met a worse person. It is truly sad to have been threatened on Christmas Eve. I gave my two weeks and tried to be professional, but her emotions got the best of her and she told me not to return. She has no control over her “pride” and they have given her way too much power in her position. She thinks she is untouchable. I hope one of the workers takes legal action. I do not have the energy to take this further.

You really have dropped the ball since you’re opening came in 10 minutes before closing staff was more interested in doing their nightly inventory stood there for five minutes before the girl even looked up. Had to have your manager say to her please take the customer went over and actually talk to the manager about it. It just seems like no one cares. It’s really sad was a regular in your establishment 3 to 4 times a week now if I go maybe once a monthI see why I don’t go because the service is lacking.

Cute and cozy. Great dessert and nice coffee. I had a pistachio croissant that was amazing. My go to is the Pesto chicken sandwich and iced white mocha latte. Some of the employees can come off rude and confused not smiling or anything.

Good night. I traveled a long way to visit the French Shop, and my experience was terrible. The gentleman at the register gave my order away twice, despite me clearly stating what I wanted. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I will not be returning.
Dietary restrictions: They almost killed my friend, gave them milk in their coffee even though they specified they have a milk allergy. However, when they pointed it out, they gave them another drink. Still, if they hadn't noticed they could've died. 😔
They have good vegan options.
Just know, the chai has milk.

I wanted to share my experience with French Workshop in Plainview. Unfortunately, every time I visit, I feel like there’s an effort to avoid serving certain customers, especially Asians. On multiple occasions, when I tried to order more than two items, the employer’s reaction was uncomfortable—he visibly froze his forehead and seemed reluctant. This wasn’t a one-time occurrence; my family members have had similar experiences as well.
I believe customer service should be welcoming to everyone, regardless of background. This behavior is disappointing, especially from an establishment that prides itself on quality. I hope they can work on improving their attitude toward all customers.

On Friday November 29th. 2024 , Around 4pm I went into The French workshop with my 4year old son we ordered 6 macaroons, A slice of crumb cake, and another dessert which I forgot the name of. We sat down had the slice and my four year old son had one macaroon . I had also ordered 2 cups of hot chocolate. We were given a Small bag which I did not opened in the store . I assumed the rest of the macaroons were in there with the crumb cake, which we told the cashier we would take to go. Upon arrival at home, I open the small bag to realize that our macaroons did not leave the store. We did not receive our macaroons.
My four year old immediately started to say how disappointed he was and I should call the store so I called the store and I spoke to a gentleman the same gentleman who actually put our order together. I knew this because he started to describe my son, and he remembered my name . I told him we will be back tomorrow to pick up the macaroons. He told me no problem just ask for the manager he will leave a note so everyone is aware.
Saturday around the same time. My 4 year old and I went back to the store. I asked for the Manager, there was a young man at the counter . He asked what was the issue I explained to him what happened yesterday and I have proof on my credit card. I spent over $22.00 This young man started to make a face and started to give me an attitude saying that if I purchased all of that it should’ve been more than $22. While I was trying to explain to him he Started to say speak up I can’t hear you with a very disgusting tone and an attitude !! I had to ask him if he really thought I would be lying or stealing six macaroons!!
I started to raise my voice because I couldn’t believe someone would really think that I wasn’t being sincere, especially with my four year-old! then A young lady came over saying she was a Manager and started to apologize to me because the young man made it seem like I was making this up because I did not have a receipt. I showed him my credit card give him my credit card information and he still did believe me. I will never return to the French workshop Plainview.
