Had a burger at the bar yesterday, and I requested to have it medium temperature. When it came out, it was dry, no juices flowing like a medium burger should be. The person serving me/bartender didn't seem to care. I showed her and she said it was medium. When I messaged the company in private, the person serving me who seems to be the manager working at the bar told me the burger I got was medium. So disappointing.

Dietary restrictions: Very happy to find out that they are Gluten friendly & have a separate fryer , to avoid cross contamination. The waitress and other staff were very careful and knowledgeable regarding the concerns of gluten allergy.

This was our first time here. When we entered the place was lively, A friend, my wife and I ate here on Thursday Night, 2/1 during Restaurant Week. The price was $46 per person which included one appetizer, one main course and one dessert. We ordered seafood baked clams and sweet chili fried calamari from the Restaurant Week menu. Our friend ordered the French onion soup from the regular menu. I received 2 large seafood baked clams which had plenty of stuffed seafood. It was delicious and had plenty of seafood and not overly made with breadcrumb. There was plenty of fried calamari to share among the three of us. Sweet chili sauce was slightly sweet but still very tasty. The French onion soup was cheesy an flavorful. We ordered for our main course the Land and Sea combo which is Romanian steak, 2 stuffed shrimp with seafood, garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, and the Broiled salmon with steamed broccoli and seasoned rice. Our dishes were well presented and served hot.(Sorry. Forgot to take pictures.) We really enjoyed our food. Very tasty and delicious. For dessert, we ordered the creamy cheesecake, oreo crunch ice cream cake and reese's peanut butter pie. Each portion was bigger than expected. The creamy cheesecake lived up to its name. If you like oreo cookies and crunchies then this is the dessert for you. Our friend loved the peanut butter pie. Creamy, plentiful and delicious.Overall, price was reasonable and food was well prepared and delicious. I highly recommend The Main Event in Plainview.Parking: Parking lot surrounds the restaurant. You can enter from the east and west of Old Country Road. There are plenty of spots from which you can choose.

Food was just ok. Some of my chicken was way overcooked and my husband's burger was not pink at all although her ordered it medium-rare. Onion rings were great.

I booked the room for about 35 people and the main event in plainview far surpassed my expectations. From start to finish they were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. The reservation process was simple and made me feel confident in my decision to have the party at this location. I decided on the appetizer menu with open bar. We arrived about 15 minutes early because this was a surprise party and we wanted to make sure everything was set. The room was already prepared and we were immediately greeted by the 2 waiters as we entered. They were super attentive, quick service and always with a smile. Drinks came out fast and the food was not only plentiful, but hot, fresh and delicious. The waiters continued to bring the apps from the start to the end of the party. Various choices, even things not listed on the menu. They noticed the favorites and quickly replenished them. The manager even came in a few times to check. Everything about this choice was EXCELLENT. I highly recommend this location.

The name fooled us, but the food and drinks have us going back frequently. The staff is super friendly and the portions are filling. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun sports bar or even a place for a casual date night.
