Beautiful place, but fell short of expectations today. Went there for lunch without a reservation. We were seated immediately, but waited 10 minutes for a waitstaff to bring water. After we ordered, and it took 30 minutes to receive our order, 2 salads. The grilled tuna salad was delicious. However, the roast pork salad was not. The pork was very thinly sliced and so overcooked that it was impossible to cut. We waited 10 minutes for our check to be delivered to our table.

Overall a decent experience for a Christmas dinner with colleagues. I suggest getting there early, if you are having a large social meal, as we felt pressured to leave at 8:00pm. I was still chewing my last piece of steak and the wait staff took my plate without asking. I also had half a glass of wine left. Early in the meal we were being paced and forced to listen to specials, only to find out they had run out of the special two of our guests wanted (Meatloaf Wellington). Escargot was good. Steak was nice and tender. Great atmosphere!!

Nice to have a fine dining option in Plattsburgh that can accommodate requests for vegan options. The Vegetable Wellington was lovely and made vegan by omitting just the béarnaise sauce. The Bordelaise was delicious and I also loved the flavour of the squash side. It was also nice to find that two of the appetizer specials on offer were vegan. Our waiter was very helpful answering my questions and offered olive oil and balsamic for the bread, and the kitchen was open to modifications that could be made to make most of vegetarian dishes vegan-friendly. Great experience.

MEH. atmosphere was ok. food sucked, sorry to say. I had lobster bisque, and although the base tasted ok (not really rich enough,sorry) there was basically NO lobster in it to speak of..... no exaggeration. what? truth. Service was just ok. Couldn't really give a strong recommendation to the place. Just too much pretense and trying to be fancy, when the bottom line is the food isn't all that great. I think personally that when there are so few options (if any) to compare this place with, maybe people tend to rate it higher than if it had competition. and to add insult to injury this place is WAY overpriced for mundane food. no chefs working there. just cooks.

We came to Plattsburgh for a short trip. Found this place right away from our hotel. This was our first time. We walked in the hostess asked did we have reservations, we said no and was ready to walk away when he said no your fine. Which was very kind and even got a chance to choose a booth. We felt under dressed but was treated like a local patron. Our waiter Zach was very professional. The food was delicious!! Very well seasoned on the steaks cooked to perfection and huge shrimp in the shrimp cocktail tasted very fresh!! The brie was creamy wanted more!!! I ordered the duck and that was seasoned and juicy not dry at all. If we had room we would of ate dessert!! Stop in make reservations and eat delicious food that didn't require any salt or pepper!!! Ask for Zach he will be polite and professional all night!!! Thanks Zach for a quiet evening and for the hospitality of Anthony's with no reservations.

Absolutely outstanding food and outstanding service! We were are party of 13 and everything was perfect. Thank you so much to Anthony and all the staff! You made our wedding dinner memorable!

My brother and new sister in law had their dinner reception just this Friday night. Samantha, our server was fantastic! 13 meals all came out together and each meal was delicious and cooked to perfection! Everyone was so very accommodating. Thank you for making it a beautiful night. You are all the best!

I have been to Anthony's a few times. Everything has always been wonderful. My brother was planning his wedding and mentioned he might have his reception dinner at Anthony's. I spoke up right away and said yes. I told him I have never had a bad meal there. It's always delicious. I am so happy he chose Anthony's. My brother married yesterday. We were running late because of pictures. My sister called the restaurant and told them. Their response was to not worry. We finally arrived. Everyone was wonderful!!! No problem we were late. They were all there at the door to welcome my brother and his new wife. They were so attentive to our wants and needs. We had miscounted how many of us there would be so they had to add another table (party of 13 btw). Many places would have given us a hard time for being late and then having to add another table to seat all of us. Anthony's was so wonderful. If the score is out of ten, then I would give them a hundred. I cannot say enough good about them. Exquisite all around. My husband said that was the best prime rib he has ever had. We all enjoyed the experience. I heard only positive comments. Everyone raved about their meals. Thank you Anthony's for making my brother's day unforgettable.

What an amazing dinner we had here last week when we were visiting Plattsburgh. We even met the chef and chatted about his background and the history of the restaurant. The Duck spring roll appetizer was especially good.
