Anthony's Restaurant & Bistro

Staying in Plattsburg and wanted a nice dinner. Went to Anthony's and had a very pleasant dinner. Javier, our waiter, was very good and answered our questions. The Fillet Mignon (6 oz) was great. (more than that is too much red meat for us) Cooked perfectly and was a select piece of beef. Tasty and tender. The Caesar salad was fresh and delicious. The Cabernet Clos de Bois was very good and not too overpriced. (wines are always high in restaurants). Overall the experience was wonderful sitting in a nice booth which was private and homey. Recommend Anthony's for a delightful evening.

One of the best restaurants anywhere. An every evolving menu that caters to a wide array of tastes. My favorite is the jumbo shrimp and scallops risotto. The crab cake appetizer is rich and one of the best I have ever had. If in the area make sure to make time to visit. Anthonys is worth the drive.. you will leave telling your friends and family about it.

Dined with my mother on my birthday, food and service were 10/10. In again today for lunch with a friend and we were both very impressed. The food is so good, I’m excited to try something new each time!

My wife and I were touring the area for our 25th Anniversary, and we wanted a very nice place to dine. Anthony’s was the place that we chose, due to highest and best ratings while searching online. Reservations were required, which we made, and we were seated right away. This place is very quaint as it is an old farm house, and was beautifully decorated. The hostess filled our water glasses and brought us bread and butter which was very good. We were met by our waitress Ali, who was very sweet and very professional. My wife ordered the house salad ($7.95) and the Tournedos special ($43.95) which was two 4 oz filets, one with béarnaise sauce and one with demi-glace sauce, it came with broccoli, mashed potatoes and mashed sweet potatoes. She absolutely loved it and said it was prepared to perfection! I ordered the Caesar salad ($12.95) and Chicken Breast Parmesan with pasta ($23.95), it was delicious! We topped off the our dinner celebration with a slice of Chocolate Mousse Cake ($11.95) which was also delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and our waitress “Ali” was absolutely perfect!

Absolutely fantastic, the excellent food, Beef Wellington, prime rib, French onion soup, crabcakes, delicious South African Cabernet. Our waiter, Alex, was perfect. The atmosphere is delightful and romantic. The piano bar was very inviting. We highly recommend.
