“We drove 2.5 hours up along Lake Champlain to get there yesterday. It was SOOOOO worth the trip for All U Can Eat Haddock. First piece must have been close to 1 pound and cooked perfectly. Will be back up again as the menu had so many things I wanted to try! Wish I knew about this years ago. Staff was very friendly and service was exceptional!! Heard so many other customers ordering the Twin Lobster Special. WELL DONE.”

“My husband and I went to Latitude 44 last night for the first time. This was the best restaurant we’ve tried in Plattsburgh so far. The twisted carrot is hard one to beat and we both say with confidence that this restaurant has done just that. We started off with the beet and goat cheese salad to share. It was wonderful it was easily 9/10. I ordered for my entree the butternut squash and sage risotto it was the best risotto I’ve tasted 10/10. We are from Montreal and have been to many high end restaurants and this was just as good if not better. My husband had the beef tips he said it was delicious and would rate it 9/10. We finished off the evening with a shared dessert of the flourless chocolate torte. It was amazing another 10/10. We will definitely be back to enjoy the food. I also read on the dessert menu the backstory of the owner and it was amazing, you should be very proud as I can taste it in the quality of the dishes.”

“Awesome bartender!! But caution they have a maximum drink policy even if you have a ride or you are within walking distance to your hotel. Safety first right! The bartender was very apologetic. I just thought it was a great experience with her and enjoyed my stay even though it was limited. I would have stayed longer and limited my 2 beers over a longer period of time..just because of the service. It was awesome including the pecan cake with ice-cream.”

We do not wish to visit any other fast food place except Chick Fil A. We travel from Vermont just to have a great meal here!!! We were welcomed warmly and felt appreciated for our business! This is entirely unlike other fast food sites.”

“Went today with my husband and had the best crepes and coffee. The owners are SUPER friendly and seem to really know their guests and make a effort to make you feel welcome. While there I watched them carry food out for 2 seperate people while holding the door open. It's really nice to see a place so caring to their customers. We will definitely be back!”

“Our first time at The Hungry Bear today. It was busy but both waitresses acknowledged us and we were served quickly. Breakfast was good, they even brought an extra egg to our table as one of the yolks was broken. That to me was exceptional customer service and not expected. Portions are big. Friendly staff. Definitely would recommend and will go back. Cozy rustic interior.”

“Loved this breakfast! Fast, friendly, and amazing. Had the meat omelet and my friend had stuffed French toast coated in corn flakes! Omelet was amazing, perfectly cooked, good amount of the meats. But her french toast was next level. Never had french toast in corn flakes before! So crispy and sweet! And she insisted on an order of the rice pudding! Again, amazing and full.of flavor! Warm, cinnamon, raisins, soo creamy! Don't sleep on this place!”

“This is the only place I will go for a pie. One size, cash only. My go to is pepperoni always. Bill has always been consistent with his pies with quality and taste. The pies are massive, the pepperoni appropriately spread. You can tell this is a form of art with each bite you take, the love can be tasted. Much love for the amazing pies and this small business.”

Edit: food is always made to order. There is no sit down area as you only have a small area to stand and order/pick up because it is blocked with tables. Staff is friendly and food is good. Not a buffet restaurant.”

“Shoutout to Rt 3 Subway! On a busy Saturday night I ordered for delivery. Almost 2 hours later the app said it should’ve been delivered 30 minutes prior, and hadn’t been. I called to check in and eventually cancel the order. The food was there ready despite DoorDash not assigning any drivers. When a driver showed up 20 minutes later, they called to let me know someone had showed up and that they were remaking my order so it would still arrive hot. Really appreciate them taking the time to help me out. Even though my food was later than expected, they did all they could to make sure I still had a good meal when it did arrive :)”

What we got was friendly attentive service, absolutely terrific food freshly made to order, and very attractive prices. If you are looking for casual dining and wonderful food, you cannot do better.
