“Want a fun place to go delete a few beverages!? Well grab onto your dungarees and run, don’t walk! Over the bridge and across the street, to Bobby’s Lounge we go! Love this bar, all 3 bartenders this past weekend were awesome. Hungry Eyes on the jukebox is a plus, Mr. Quick Draw shaking you down-priceless. Chicken Patricia sandwich is amazing. 10/10 recommend. Fuck it, I’ll drive back up from VT this weekend.“

Fourth Ward Club Bar • $
36 Montcalm Ave, Plattsburgh

“This is by far the best bar in Plattsburgh. Always has been, always will be. The Duquette family have owned this bar forever and you can expect to be treated like family here. If you don’t smile and laugh and have a great time while you’re here then you’re doing something wrong! I love you guys!“

Stocious Sports Pub Bar • $
180 Margaret St, Plattsburgh

“I like the atmosphere, the specials are awesome, and the service is friendly. The lack of a theme and high regular prices make it feel less than perfect though. It can't decide if it wants to be a pub, a sports bar, a club or just your grandma's house. It's away from heavy foot traffic but still close to the heart of downtown so the scattered feeling that comes with laser lights, sport ball stools and kitty/puppy wall stickers is forgivable.“

“I have been to Mickey's several times for a quick lunch or to grab a drink with a friend, staff is always friendly and helpful. Finally made it here for dinner and it was above and beyond expectations, carbonera was perfectly done and delicious, staff was attentive as always. Only negative about Mickeys is the train tracks right next door, but it is such a minor issue it shouldn't even be taken into account!“

Valcour Brewing Company Brewery • $$
49 Ohio Ave, Plattsburgh

“Valcour was selected because they're in one of the RV programs that shares their parking lot for overnight parking. So now I can have a beer or two and not have to be concerned about driving. Fabulous! As for the location, the historical marker on the outside of this amazing building reads, "Old Stone Barracks. This building was built in 1838. The oldest structure on the base, stands as a witness to many events significant in American military history. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places, February 18, 1971."

On a Saturday night, they were not very busy. I was immediately seated inside (air conditioning!) and a helpful waitress took my order. I spent the rest of the evening sipping beer, people watching, writing Yelp reviews. I also managed to consume some (extremely hot!) fried pickle spears.

Overnight parking was quiet enough and very level. This was a very pleasant stop and I will definitely return when I am back in Plattsburgh!“

“We both had the filet mignon and loved it! Food was delicious, service was good and the atmosphere was nice. The only thing they need to work on is there cocktail game..

We both ordered an "adirondack sour" which was similar to a NY sour but it seemed watered down with juice or something. Other than that everything was great!“

Retro Live Bars • $
14 Margaret St Suite C, Plattsburgh

“Wow, the last time I was in Plattsburg, my friends treated me to this fine establishment, and the music was killer, and within five minutes I spotted at least ten young ladies who could have easily graced the front cover of VOGUE. I hope to play this world class establishment someday, maybe in a paralell universe not discovered by scientists yet.“

“It was a first time for us. We don't know why but our waitress was doing everything else but serving us. We had to call another one to take over.

Food was great, I will go again for sure.
As a Montreal tourist we mostly knew about Texas Roadhouse but we needed to change that.

We found the Butcher Block, a family owned steakhouse. We ordered too much food but everything looked good so we couldn't resist.

The Fried cheese curds is ?
The crab cakes too. ?
I had the ravioli. There was way too much oil in the bottom of my ramekin.
Eternal refills of soda.

Great salad bar too. It is smaller than what we can find elsewhere but what is served is great quality soup, salad, bread. Everything tastes great. Less is more.

Will go back I want to try everything.“
