“After a very long day of filming time for a special treat. The service, food, ambience and vibe was exactly what we were looking for and sure enough the Guild Tavern excelled in every area. Thank you to our server Charlotte who was amazing to the entire team here. Each dish carefully and well executed in presentation and taste. The energy level this team has is like watching a well-orchestrated master piece. Each team member knew the thoughts of the others, the smiles always on their faces soon as you walk in and while you are here to the delivery of drinks and food and closing out the evening. Always helping each other with no complaints nor competitive angles or agendas just pure team work. This is a place we would love to have in our upcoming documentary. Highly recommend the Guild Tavern. Thank you for a wonderful evening.“

“Love the Sweet Korean Fire, Cajun Dry Rub, Mesquite Dry Rub, Teriyaki, Garlic Parm, or even plain. Garlic Parm Tots or Waffle fries are a must. I'm a huge fan of the 4 piece tender meal, perfect portion that comes with a side and a can of soda. Great late night option..hit em up.“

“ATTEMPTED TIP SHAMPERS!!! Went to the Monkey House for pizza and a drink as I often do in the evenings after work. Tonight I decided to order a whole pizza which costs about $18 plus tax. Between the person I'm dining with and myself, we order 4 drinks. When the bill comes its $45. So I decide to tip $5.00 to the bartender because I had already tipped the gentleman who made my pizza $5.00. The bartender Maria, who was preoccupied with texting on her phone and had her back turned to me the majority of the time I was there eventually brings my credit card back, along with my bill. I chose to tip her $5.00 because I thought that was fair (4 drinks). Maria then looks at my receipt then loudly says to me "I dont usually serve people who tip less than 10%" [SIDE NOTE $5.00 is more than 10% Maria!] You know what Maria, I want my $5.00 back! (I called and she did agree not to charge my creidt card the $5.00 tip.) However, I was enjoying my evening up until Maria attempted to wrongfully tip shame me. Probably wont be back here, at least for a while. Why do bartenders think they should be tipped on food they didn't even make? (And if the answer is, we tip out the guy who makes the pizza, than why is there an extra tip bucket asking for tips specifically for the pizza maker?) what if my pizza was to-go? Would Maria still expect a 20% tip on that? so very annoyed/frustrated and angry at what happened tonight!“

“Loved this place, stumbled on it while out for a walk. Definitely bigger than it looks. Great prices on drinks. Pool table and outside seating in the back with tables, chairs, foot rests and even has a grill and horseshoes. Bartenders were very friendly and outgoing. One of the best "local" bars in town that I experienced.“

“As far as dive bars go you can't get any better than ESOX.
You can see the entire crowd right from the door, free pool with purchase of drink, limited food selection but it's a sports bar not really a gastropub. $2 hot dogs and $1 single servings of chips, amazing mixed drinks, double shots, free fooseball with drink purchase, and amazing staff!!“

Solid drafts at good prices, bar never too packed to get a drink reasonably fast, and both Nathan and Shiva were wonderful karaoke hosts who kept things moving and were great performers themselves. “it’s Saturday night, I’m enjoying a draft w a friend, all of a sudden the bartender runs outta the place at lightning speed. He zips through the patio and with the precision of a cat, parkours over the chain to confront some departing patrons climbing into a car. We wonder —whats going on? is he giving them back something left behind? No! these folks are thieves, and he is retrieving several glasses they stole! How did he notice? We may never know. These patrons hid these glasses skillfully, but this bartender was laser focused. I have never seen a bartender act with such urgency. he protected his place of employment from petty theft while simultaneously providing us entertainment. brilliant. thank you for making me laugh“

Can't take coupons at the bar unless there is a manager present, so that's annoying.It's an overpriced restaurant for the quality of food they serve but it's a game center so people will still buy. The sliders are probably the best thing on their menu.“

“When in Burlington, fill up at Three Needs! The pizza is excellent, crispy well cooked crust, no flop. I got a no cheese vegan pizza and it was delicious, the roasted garlic was a standout. Alex devoured the Sausage and Pepperoni pie and Sam was very into his pizza which had tomatoes, I’m always a little suspicious of that, but then again I had carmelized onions, so who is the suspicious one??? The beer was cold and served with care, on a disgustingly hot and humid day, who wants anything more. Alex raved about the cider, I had the Hazy Conehead (maybe?). This isn’t drunk pizza, this is legit anytime you want to enjoy the good life pizza, am I right?“

“Oh. My. Goodness! The fish tacos were so so good! 3 tacos, full portion of flavorful, moist, melt in your mouth fish in each one, topped with fresh avocado and a lime crema that pulled it all together. The shell was deep fried, but it was a great combo of crisp and chewy. Made my night!“

“We were a party of 6. High table near the bar. A Saturday night. We had a great time and were never rushed.
Our food was good and quick. Our drinks were the same.
I had fish tacos, which were great! 3 came in the order. I ordered onion rings with them because I was expecting less than I got. I didn't need the onion rings.
We got there @ 5:30 and stayed for 3 hours. Again, I never felt rushed to exit the joint. Our server even said we could spend the night if we wanted. Rare for a busy place on a Saturday night.
Parking was limited behind the building. But, as I typed, we got there early, so no trouble finding parking.
I would go back.“
