Stayed at the hotel the Armory is attached to. Staff was very friendly and personable. If I wanted to hangout at a bar and chat with bartender and staff this would be the place. The food was really good as well. The homemade New England Clam Chowder was wonderful. I had the reuben on marbled rye bread and my family ordered a burger and chicken sandwiches. If you don't want to leave the hotel, this is a decent option. Note that Monday and Tuesday nights, the bar has a very limited menu of four items. But the bar itself is well-stocked.

The last time we ate here a few years ago (breakfast) the food was awful (oversalted) and the service equally dismal. We did complain and the management was very responsive. On this latest visit we decided to try the restaurant again for breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty, seasoned appropriately and the service was prompt and friendly. Will visit again.
