“My son and I ate here Easter night. It was FABULOUS! It had a very cool vibe and the people working there were outstanding, so friendly. Our server, forgot her name (SORRY), was terrific. Great suggestions, attentive but not overly so. The owner Matt was just as nice. Introduced himself, wanted to know how everything was, and thanked us for stopping in. But most importantly - the food and drink. WOW. We were both starving and hadn't eaten all day,so we shared many small plates.....bread, the Basket of French Fries - Melt-em-down, the ham plate, chilled beets and mushroom tartine. All terrific, but we both said the mushroom tartine was our favorite. We ordered potato gnocchi and arctic char for our dinners. Amazing. For the amount of food we ordered, we weren't stuffed, as the portions were just the right size. The arctic char had a maple beurre blanc sauce that was out of this world, so good, I used a spoon to make sure I got every drop! We shared a smallish scoop of pistachio ice cream layered with chocolate chards - just the right size for a sweet bite after dinner. All in all, one of the best restaurants I've been to in while, anywhere, but definitely the best in Burlington. Oh, and the cocktails......divine! Thank you! Can't wait to come back.“

You have to appreciate the true art of sandwich making and overcome the fact that good food (even sandwiches) takes more than 30 seconds to put together! I waited no more than 10 minutes for one of the best sandwiches of my life, in a wonderful atmosphere with lovely staff. Thank you!“

“Really good roast beef sandwich. Pricing is a little steep, but in line with other prices in the area, and you get more meat than average. I usually get a roast beef sandwich with cheddar and various vegetables. It's often a little bready, but pretty good. I recommend the english mustard if you *really* like horseradish. Its intensely spicey, but really flavorful. I usually ask them to apply it only lightly. They used to have a combo deal with a fountain drink, but when I asked them about it they told me just to grab a drink from the fridge; I grabbed a monster energy which is taking advantage of that lol, but they didn't say anything. The staff are friendly (gave me a friendly warning about the mustard) and move through a line super quickly. I haven't ever had the fish and chips, but it looks and smells good. They have plenty of seating area and its nice enough I've chosen to eat my sandwich there a couple times. They have plenty of parking and its easy to access. Best sandwich I've found in the area without considering price. In summation, the ingredients are quality, the sandwich has good ratios, and the staff are friendly, but it's not an out of this world sandwich.“

“The food was amazing, we are here on vacation and don't get smoked meats like this around home so whenever we find a place that does it we try it. And it was delicious! Where we were sat was a bit loud but it didn't deter much from the time. Highly recommend!!Dietary restrictions: I let the waitress now of my dietary restrictions and she was able to point out clearly on the menu what was on for me and what was not, it helped a bunch!“

“Came across this in Burlington next to the lake as we were coming to get beers at Foam Brewers. Deep City is their concept restaurant in the same building, with a bigger food menu. It has some pretty impressive things. A lot of it's meaty but not all of it. There's plenty of plant based choices that replicate the meaty stuff. After seeing this place open we changed plans and went here instead. It's a fancier looking place than the brewery next to it. The prices unfortunately reflect this. It's about $16 for typical items. They got rid of the half portions they had, and now only have the bigger more expensive ones. Boo. There's plenty of plant based options including the Vegan Poutine. Looks a lot like the real item. This instead has cashew squash queso and maitake mushrooms. Good but expensive. This is the only big issue. For sure the food is good. It's just pricy, and they now only have the big portions. These may cost too much, but the good thing is there's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.“

“Great restaurant for business meetings, or a date. Good service, decent selection of really well done food. Is a bit pricey, but overall a good experience if you wanted to splurge. I had the duck confit dish, was excellent. Also had the baked cheese and cheese and charcuterie plate for appetizer. The truffles for dessert are huge portion, 6 truffles the about an inch in diameter, very rich dark chocolate, would go well with an after dinner espresso. Other folks had the other desserts and it all looked very good.Parking: Parking rates depend on the time. If you go during middle of week and after 6pm, there is plenty of street parking, and it's free after 6pm.“
