The staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and made killer drinks. All 3 drinks we got were amazing. Can’t wait to go back and try some new ones. They have little snack platters on their menu too! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.“
“Stopped in Sunday afternoon for a felafelto go. Top notch sandwich, heavenly thin warm lavash rolled up with hint of purple cabbage, gorgeous chickpea balls ( not oily) and yummy sauce on the side. Nice atmosphere, very clean fast service from bartender. Resisted, with difficulty , the Vt maple baklava ! Will be back with friends !“

“Very cool coffeeshop right in front of the Co-op has great coffee and standout pastries - best croissant ? in Burlington so far - still have more to try. The building itself is a yuppie dream warehouse situation.Parking: Parking is tricky to get into because the access road right next to the coffeeshop is one way. Enter through the Howard center and there is another entrance in back.“

“Great little brewery to stop by. Plenty of seats and space. Had a pretty good selection of beers on tap. We tried the smoked beer flight. Not really my taste, but they were brewed well. Next time I'm over there, I'll try some of the other beers they have.“
“My wife and I visit Brio every time we visit Vermont which is as often as possible. This past October we visited before spending a day in Burlington. My wife who is not a big coffee drinker had a Calypso espresso while I a big coffee drinker went with the single origin Ethiopia Shantawene. Fast forward 4 months and I am still dreaming about that single origin espresso. I roast my own coffee at home and drink a ton of espresso and I still have not been able to recreate anything like that experience. Brio is one of the best in the business and I 100% recommend stopping while you are in the Burlington area. I hope some day to be able to pull a shot of my own coffee that can re create that experience over again. Thanks for everything you do!“
“We enjoyed our beers and liked the space (including the dogs!) but there was a warmth missing from the vibe here. I asked one of the bartenders a question and they literally shrugged without any further response and looked away. I think that captures our experience at Foam. We would go back if in the area, but wouldn’t hurry to if there were other options.“

The clam chowder was full of clams and had a wonderful flavor, the lobster roll was amazing and super fresh tasting with a fair amount of lobster for the $30 price tag, and the maple ham wrap was super delicious. Additionally, they have a great little shop with some local products which makes it easy to grab souvenirs for friends and family!“
“Best Cider around!Update for my second visit!Best Cider, best Cider cocktails now anywhere near here last few trips to Burlington! Stopped in for some drinks and a snack.. Pretzel bites are great and definitely try a flight or two! The Dock Side Muke is amazing! Perfect plate to hang out and have a few amazing ciders. Make sure you have room in your car to bring a few cans back with you with some truly unique blends of Cider! Will be back again on our next travels through Burlington!“
“One of the best coffee shops I've ever been too, even after years of living in Brooklyn. They take their time with each order, and you can tell they prioritize making a good quality coffee over mass producing as many coffees as possible. They also have different drinkware when you dine-in, which is a really nice touch as most places still give you the same plastic cup either way. I cannot recommend this place enough.“
“We visited during the 2024 solar eclipse and had an amazing time! The staff was wonderful & welcoming, the food was delicious (we had the pizza and the chicken wings), and the DJ had great musical tastes (house music will always get me on the dance floor)! Looking forward to coming back one day!“

There is very little seating and honestly its kind of cold inside, and the barista was loudly watching TV before and after making the drinks which I didn’t love. The establishment itself seems really cool. There was a little fireplace and a huge projector TV.The only reason for the 4/5 was the bathroom setups. I have no problems with single stall gender neutral bathrooms, which they have 2 of in the beer garden. However, the main restrooms were multi stall gender neutral. Not a fan of that, for women's sake. Too many creeps out there, and the setup was poor.“

I opted for a spinach and feta scone and a cheddar scone, both were so so good! “The place to go when you are in Burlington! I tried the "Toad in the Hole" and it was actually EXCELLENT with that apple chutney. Their fries are also fantastic. Nice selection of handcrafted beers as well. Service was friendly and professional.I will definitely return everytime I am in that city, you should too as you won't regret it.“

“We had our first meal here as an engaged couple! Our server did a phenomenal job and made our special evening even more special with how kind she was. In fact everyone in the restaurant was so incredibly kind and helped us celebrate our engagement, which made the entire experience at Shanty on the Shore shine like the diamonds on my fiancée's ring. We had the lobster (lazy man style) with the mac and cheese, clam chowder, and Wild Maine and PEI oysters which were all amazing. The view of Lake Champlain was breathtaking, the food was spectacular, and being able to enjoy the whole experience with my fiancée made this the best experience ever. They also gave us a piece of the key lime pie on the house as a congratulations on our engagement. Honestly, if you are in Burlington and you don't have a meal here, you have done yourself a great disservice. This place is 10/10.“

The wait can get a bit long during peak and they don’t take reservations so be prepared for that and allow extra time if that’s when you’re planning to visit. Service is prompt and friendly, the food is tasty (home fries were honestly perfection in my opinion) and the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Covered outdoor seating is available until it’s too frigid and the big glazed ‘garage doors’ are opened up on nice summer days as well for an al fresco feel. Burlington could use more places like this (RIP Penny Cluse)!“

“One of many great Burlington restaurants. They have a series of unique pizzas cooked in a large fire oven. The sausage pizza was a little disappointing - the sausage was made locally and the spice was too timid and this didn’t really help the overall taste of the pizza. Our other pizza was very good. We got a brownie with a scoop of ice cream which was average. Kinda felt like I could have easily made a box of brownies and added a scoop of ice cream and it would have been just as good.Loved the interior.“
