“BEST PIZZA SINCE ITALY! On our first time visit to Burlington, we stumbled on Pizzeria Verita. It was fabulous! Literally our tastiest pizza since we’ve been in Italy. We didn’t have reservations so sat at the bar. Fun vibe and great service. You can also watch the crew make the pizzas in a giant wood fired oven. Very entertaining.“

“We have a friend that is seriously ill and we wanted a very special meal for he and his wife prepared and delivered to their home. The manager and staff arrived at work early to make it happen and would not accept a fee for delivery. They went beyond their duties and provided a marvelous meal for our friends. What beautiful hearts and souls they have. We thank you all so very much for your great meals and service.“

“This is definitely the BPOE. Best Pizza On Earth. Our server Orson was a real friendly feller. I got the Power to the People Pizza and more than loved it. Eating here was ecstasy. Buffalo sauce drenched chicken jumbled with tomato sauce and blue cheese, and a delicious crust, dipped in zesty ranch. Heavenly.“

“This place has very good food. My wife and I had a great time for our anniversary. Beautiful ambiance, sort of transports you to a new (“good--maybe theres some hope 😊”) feeling about church street sitting by the window in the front. I imagine it’s beautiful w the Christmas tree out there. It feels like effort was taken to have very good options at multiple price points. We had the filet mignon and the chicken and lobster mac. All very good.“

“I had an extremely delicious Reuben. It was made fresh and the staff are extremely knowledgeable on veg/vegan. The seitan and cheese were made in-house and you can tell. The seitan was the best texture I’ve ever had it! The salad/hot bar opens around 11/11:30a so I was a little early for it, but I hope to try it while I’m here. “Really enjoyed Cafe Dim Sum! I’ve eaten at many dim sum restaurants across the country and this definitely ranks amongst the top! We were a little confused when we first came because we looked at the menu beforehand but then learned they rotate their menu regularly! So we changed plans & ordered the green beans (they made this vegetarian for us), scallion noodles, char siu bun, and chicken pork dumplings. For two people this was more than enough & we were happy with every single dish! Thank you Cafe Dim Sum!“

“My spouse and I order meals from Belleville Bakery at least twice a month. Shelley’s meals, including sandwiches, are unique and delicious, full of flavor. Her pastries and baked goods are exceptional. Sooooooo yummy! A few months ago, Shelley started offering Saturday brunch at the bakery: “bring friends and meet new people.” I’ve been curious about the brunch since its inception, so when Shelley announced a brunch in late September, I decided I’d celebrate my 76th birthday at Belleville. I was lucky enough to snag all ten reservations. I, my spouse, and eight of my very good friends enjoyed a glorious brunch at Belleville Bakery. We loved every bite of every dish on the brunch menu—not one flaw. Shelley is a superb chef and baker. She’s gracious and welcoming. We felt comfortable and at home. Thank you, Shelley, for one of the best birthday celebrations EVER! My birthday cake was beautiful. We had a wonderful morning. Thanks so much, Shelley and staff, for a memorable meal and morning. “This place has been a go to every farmers market this summer! They are super nice, and the food is delicious. I am sad that the summer farmers market is over in Burlington, but I am sure to visit their store this winter! I will need to get my awesome Anatolian food fix somehow. ^_^“

“This restaurant has been our favorite for 20 years! We go several times a year and have never, ever had a bad experience. The staff is so knowledgeable and top notch. The food is superb (especially the sesame chicken dumplings and dry fried green beans…..and the cauliflower….and the lemon shrimp…..and if there’s any fish specials….)“

“We have been coming here since 1986 when it was a tiny spot that let us teenagers sit and drink coffee all day. They are one of Burlington’s oldest and most loved restaurants, known for their early bird Bistro dinner that serves French classics like Beef Bourgignon, Steak Frites and even gluten free Cavatappi Carbonara. Tonight it was snowing hard and the restaurant was still full and the service was terrific. It’s our go-to place for the last 35 years and I’m grateful they are still around.“
