“Great wood-fired pizza and nice atmosphere; plus, when they accidentally processed our order wrong and made 2 small pizzas instead of large ones, they made us the large pizzas and let us keep the small ones as well free of charge”

“Amazing place. Interesting spins on classic mediterranean dishes. Clearly the focus is on providing quality ingredients with rich but clean flavors. Service is top quality. Atmosphere was very chill, but attentive (this is a pleasant surprise creating such high level amazing food without all the pomp and circumstance).
I can totally see why they earned multiple James Beard nominations.”
“Best food in Burlington by far if you want casual eating. It's not greasy bar food, don't let the truck kitchen fool you. What they serve is fresh and delicious. On top of that, you can't beat the view!”

“I just had their breakfast sandwich so nothing can upset me today. I’m bringing their buttery biscuits nine hours away - should be a crime to miss out on them tbh. My bestest Burlington experience to date!”
“My family just arrived from Nepal and were craving chole bhatura, a dish not listed on the menu. However, upon our single request, the restaurant graciously prepared it for us. Honestly, they made our day with their exceptional service and delicious food.
We also tried the chicken momo, chicken chow mein ,veg and chicken samosas, which were fantastic. Additionally, we ordered chowmein and momos for takeout, and they did not disappoint. This place is the best Indian restaurant around, offering some Nepali and Indo-Chinese dishes as well. Highly recommended!”

“Shy Guy makes the best gelato on planet Earth. Sorry Italy, our Vermonter takes the cone. Paul’s creativity for flavors is unmatched and every bite of his creation is pure perfection. He makes for an excellent wedding vendor and beams nothing but sunshine and positivity. If you haven’t experienced Shy Guy yet, go there right now.”
“Great atmosphere, knowledgeable bartenders, and wonderful drinks. If you don’t like to have a good time don’t attend.”
“We had a delightful meal tonight at Bourbon Street restaurant in Burlington, Vermont. Chef Richard is the host, chef and owner. He was a pleasure to meet, the food was delicious and the desserts were fantastic. This is a cozy little Mecca in Burlington. We felt like we were welcomed into Richard’s home. We are happy that we were able to get reservations. The food has various little twists that provided gastronomical delights.”
“At noon, we had 2 delicious ciders, The Dirty Mayor and Wits Up. The Elote Chicken tacos were full of superior taste. We had our dog with us out on the deck. Our server offered the dog water/bowl but we had these ourselves.”

“I’ve had many different dishes here, all have been excellent. My favorites are the hot garlic chicken (appetizer) and the paneer tika masala (main). The roti is very good. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and very convenient location with surrounding attractions.”

“Excellent dinner choice. The food is authentic and the service was superb. I will return and try a fish dish. I really like the outsole seating as the weather was perfect. Kick back and try a new diah!”
“I am from out of town but whenever I am in Burlington I make sure to stop here for a drink and a bite. The brews are fantastic and creative, and the menu is well thought out. The food quality is also great and has many options for shareable sizes. I like that this space is mixed blend - tables for a sit down meal, areas for more casual catch ups, and a large bar for quick and easy service. The service at the table can be a little bit slow if they get busy.”
“Nice place and good atmosphere. Great selection of beers. Not a lot of meal choices.
Food tasted good but not great. Service is excellent and it's very well located.”
“My friends and I had a phenomenal time here. We had the cornbread and fries as an appetizer. We got the family reunion as our entree. Everything tasted great. All the meats were well seasoned and paired well with the available sauces. Nothing was dry, I think all the meats were very well cooked. My favorite sides were the Mac & Cheese and the smashed potatoes. If you’re going in a large group, I’d recommend the family reunion. Our waitress, Alice, was great to us! Alice made the whole experience top tier.”
“White tablecloths and a private room for six with everything served the right way-We started our evening with salads and enjoyed them as much as the steak frites, creamed spinach and seared/crusted Ahi Tuna-all superb and delicious. The service and hospitality also hit the spot!l”
“Nice brewery with the view of the Lake Champlain. They had great selections of various IPAs!! Each had very unique flavor, which was great. i tried most of their DIPAs on tab. Ended up taking 4 packs of their IPA(drops) home.”
“Great, authentic Indian cuisine!”
“The food in this restaurant is amazing. It is also amazing to sit a the chef’s bar and watch them cook up close while you eat. Awesome restaurant, will definitely be coming back”
“Pascolo's in Burlington is definitely the best Italian food that I've had in Vermont. Not by a little, but by Giant amount. Plus, the people that work here are super friendly. If you haven't eaten here, just stop being stupid and make a reservation right now. Ask for Anna. I asked her to make a couple of choices for what ways to take the food and everything was incredible.”
“We enjoyed our lunch a lot. The doner wrap was very flavorful. We liked the baba ganoush and bread.”
“The best Indian food in Burlington owned by a caring family who make you feel welcome.”

“This is probably the first time I have actively sought out a business to leave a review. I couldn't end the night without sharing how incredible this spot is! Every element of our meal was amazing. The decor was so inviting, our whole group instantly felt like we left Burlington and entered Cuba. Then, our server was spectacular with explaining the menu, making recommendations, and just being such a positive part of the experience. The food was superb. We got the 3 chips for the table and I can honestly say I've never enjoyed chips so much. We all loved our drinks and entrees. The music was great for setting the vibe, but never so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. This will be my new recommendation for friends visiting the area. We will be back!!”

“Can't visit my daughter in Burlington without a trip to Pingala. The varied and tasty menu, the friendly staff and the stunning riverfront location can't be beat! This time I tried the Brunch Crunchwrap. Super yummy and the perfect portion size. My daughter got the fresh rolls, which she enjoyed. Can't wait to come back and try more!”

“Omg this food is amazing, do not miss this spot!! All vegan, all delicious. We stopped during a long drive to NY and it was so good we made sure to stop on the way back as well! My non-vegan friend was super impressed.
Dietary restrictions: Great for vegans!
Parking: Plenty of parking around the building.”
“The best coffee in Burlington, and maybe the world. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. What a great place with a choice of 3 espressos!”

“Delicious coffee, their specials are always changing. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. I would highly recommend it!”
“Great place I go to every once in a while. Always great vibes. Just today I spilled a drink and the baristas rushed over to help me out, and even remade the drink without me asking! Great people!”
“had a great time playing a board game with my family! Great location! Gluten free options too!”
“Leisurely Saturday morning bike ride and breakfast stop. Enjoyed the polenta and eggs with smoked salmon as well as the griddled biscuit. Fueled for the rest of the ride!”
“Exceptional sandwich shop. I stopped in here with my family for a quick lunch and we were instantly greeted kindly. We all took a few glances at the huge menu with some phenomenal choices and ordered. The food was amazing, fresh bread, delicious ingredients, and the pastrami and swiss panini was life-changing. Will absolutely be coming back!”

“This is one of those kinds of restaurants that makes you not want to leave when you’re in from out of town! A local recommended it and I’m SO glad I came. There was already a bit of a line at the door when I got there a few minutes before open. Inside the restaurant is adorable. The white bean dip with focaccia was to die for!! The burrata was a bit smaller than expected for the price but was also fabulous. Fancy’s is the new kid on the block and I fully expect to wait in an even longer line when I’m back in town next.”

“Good prices, good portion sizes, and everything tastes good. The building exterior doesn't look great, but that really doesn't matter much. I've been here several times and it's always consistently good.”

“It was so good we visited twice in one week on our trip. I’m a tried and true southerner and that was one damn fine BLT. Beer is on point. Solid IPAs and delicious smoked ales. The food was excellent. Muscles were amazing. Service was great just all around a must visit!”

“Kestrel has awesome coffee and the best staff. Going other places doesn’t compare!”
“I’ve just had perhaps The Best turkey sandwich I’ve ever had - Iraqi turkey sandwich. It was so, so flavorful. If I lived in Burlington, I’d be a regular at this place. The atmosphere is quirky, cozy, unique. It’s well, well worth a visit.”
“Chris and Joanne are the lovely owners of this bakery, and it is SO GOOD. We get pastries delivered to our cafe a few miles away and our customers can’t stop praising GH for their muffins, scones, peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, shortbread bars, and more! My favorite is the oatmeal fruit bar. They also have delicious paninis at 11am and, my favorite thing ever, the draft latte. I go here every weekend at this point! :) PS the barista is awesome, I think Maggie? She always makes drinks look so nice and has inventive flavors!”
“Atmosphere: There was a nice variety of seating options. They had a small selection of local coffee and tea for sale. In addition there were a few handcrafted items for sale.
Service: The girls behind the counter were very friendly.
Food: We got an iced London fog and iced chai Marsala. They were both great and not sickeningly sweet. She added a little maple syrup to sweeten it and it was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed the chai so much that I brought some to take home.”
“I had a wonderful breakfast at Nomad! It was organic, delicious and filling!”
“Nice indoor and outdoor terrace, friendly. Too much slippery stuff on the burger patty melt, but otherwise all was nice.
Parking: Very close to the waterfront, small but convenient free parking is a plus.”
“My first job was at a NJ bagel shop. It was under the table and I was underage, that’s how you know we were legit ? I feel that I gatekeep bagels, having lived in NYC, Boston and now VT.
It’s on Church st and in VT but to my surprise, this place is AWESOME. The quality of the bagels, the creativity of the sandwiches, the diversity of the cream cheeses. Man oh man do I look forward to coming here almost every day.
Not only is the food product exceptional (freshly baked) but the staff is also lovely. Attentive, they remember me, customer service oriented, and friendly.
My favorite sandwich to get is the Jalapeño cheddar bagel not toasted (why toast it if it is freshly baked each day?) with bacon scallion (which they now have discontinued booooo) cream cheese with tomato slices. Highly recommend and hope one day they will call this sandwich “The Ana””
“Not often that you walk into a place like this. So eclectic, so different! And, incredible food! Owners introduced themselves, giving the feeling of "home". So welcomed! Our server, Abigail Quinticia Flynn, was amazing! Highly recommend!!”
“The Pinery was the perfect addition to our wedding. The trailer was ideal for our venue due to limited space inside for a bar. The staff was flexible and friendly leading up to our wedding and the day of.The Pinery worked with us to create a bar menu that was a hit with our guests. We were able to create a menu with his and her cocktails and other cocktails to appease all guests. The team was also very helpful at recommending beers, wines, and nonalcoholic beverages. The prebatched cocktails (margarita, bees knees, whiskey sour) were all such a hit with our guests that we still receive compliments months after the wedding. The team even went as far as setting aside some of the his and her cocktails to ensure we had some before they were all gone and holding onto an egg white to make me a proper whiskey sour before the end of the night. We look forward to working with The Pinery again in the future and cannot recommend them enough for a wedding bar service.Carsen & Taylor”
“Amazing bartenders amazing drinks amazing prices I would recommend to go here to drink”
“friendly service, great food, great coffee/ tea, chill environment”
“Kestrel has awesome coffee and the best staff. Going other places doesn’t compare!”
“This is a small, quaint restaurant that is worth the wait. My hubby and I had the grilled pork belly, a mushroom and pasta dish. Everything is fresh made and it appears the menu changes often as it is a farm to table type place. I love pasta and this was one of the best mushroom and homemade pasta dishes I have had.
Everything is a sharable plate, so go hungry and order 3-4 things. We split 2 things because we had plans for ice cream later.
The music is a little loud but the place is small so it helps drown out the crowd. We were there on a Wednesday and it was packed. I very much recommend. Sorry for the lack of photos. It looked so good I forgot to take them”

“We were in Burlington for a week and ate here twice. The menu had a large selection of dishes, from your typical curries to momo dumplings and more. Our favorites were the bhindi masala (some of the best we've ever had), momo and the unique coconut chicken curry. prompt, friendly service in a cute restaurant.”

“Had a lot of fun here on our honeymoon in 2015. Highly recommend!”
