“This Is now my favorite place to eat in Burlington. We sat at the bar and had excellent service by both bartenders. The wine was very good - 2019 Mara Valpolicella Ripasso - and reasonably priced. We shared the Salsiccia E Funghi pizza with the spicy sausage - more than enough for two people. This is one of the most flavorful pizzas I have ever had! We also enjoyed the atmosphere here - fun, relaxed and the right kind of music. Thanks for a great dining experience! We will be back!”
“Still my favorite restaurant in Burlington after many years. Revisited last week for the first time in a couple of years and everything was phenomenal. The menu is ever changing but some classics remain - the muhamarra and baba ganoush served with warm pita are perfect. Also have been dreaming of the halloumi. Even my extremely picky eating 15 year old brother tried and loved almost everything which is a huge testament to this place. Order as many dishes as you can and savor each bite!”
“From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening. The menu offered an excellent variety of options, making it hard to choose because everything sounded so appealing. When our dishes arrived, we were impressed by the quality and presentation of the food - each bite was a testament to the chef's passion and attention to detail. The service was truly impeccable. It was our first visit, and we were there to celebrate a special occasion. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring that our evening was memorable. They were attentive without being intrusive, and their recommendations were spot on, enhancing our dining experience. We left the restaurant feeling genuinely appreciated and satisfied. Thank you to the entire team for an outstanding evening that exceeded our expectations. We'll certainly be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special night.Melissa”
“Tonight’s dinner was a first for me and not a last for sure … Rachel (my daughter) recommended Sherpa Kitchen, a Nepalese Cuisine … this restaurant was very casual with really tasty food … I started off with Chai which was delicious … then Sherpa Stew Combination (beef & lamb) … it was a broth soup with wide noodles, vegetables, beef and lamb with wonderful heat … excellent flavor and so satisfying … for dessert I had Basta Maakhu (a cheese dumpling in a caramel sauce) … this was excellent … I would rate this meal a 9.5 … a definite place to visit when in Burlington, VT … LIVE LOVE LAUGH & EAT ALWAYS … ????#CancerFree2024 #LiveLoveLaughAlways #sherpastew #napelesecuisine #cancerwarrior #cancersurvivor #diningout #EyeOnTheFuture”
“The food was amazing, we are here on vacation and don't get smoked meats like this around home so whenever we find a place that does it we try it. And it was delicious! Where we were sat was a bit loud but it didn't deter much from the time. Highly recommend!!Dietary restrictions: I let the waitress now of my dietary restrictions and she was able to point out clearly on the menu what was on for me and what was not, it helped a bunch!”

“Trattoria Delia is one of my all-time favorite places to dine. The food is exceptional and, as ridiculous as it may sound, I always order two desserts. It’s that good!”
“My husband and I wandered in just now and had brain fog from a long drive, so we didn’t get to express how amazed and grateful we were for Richard’s food / how lucky we were that he could accommodate us. (We didn’t realize that he was a one-man show; our apologies). We were lucky enough to come across Richard’s shop randomly browsing on Google Maps. The blackened catfish was amazing, and the atmosphere is cozy. Will definitely have to stop back in if we get the chance.”
“The diverse menu with flavorful and inventive dishes that genuinely exceeded my expectations. Amidst the cozy and inviting atmosphere, I had the Buffalo Crunch Wrap and Fresh Roll, and each bite was nothing short of amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend Pingala Cafe to anyone in search of a fantastic vegan meal within a warm and welcoming environment.”

“Phenomenal restaurant! Food, service, atmosphere everything was five stars. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. Everything was brought out the moment it was placed on the counter from the chefs. I’d highly recommend. Parker House rolls were to die for, the oysters were some of the best I’ve had, and the hanger steak was cooked to perfection.”
“I was sent here by a matchmaking service. I didn't even know about the place and I'm a local, until then! But you bet I came back. Both experiences were top notch in food, service, drinks and atmosphere. I would say this is by far one of the best all around spots in the area. I eat globally and this competes with spots in major cities.Dietary restrictions: They gave optionsParking: I park in the lot for the building up the streetKid-friendliness: Well behaved kids with real food experience would do well here”

“Stopped in Sunday afternoon for a felafelto go. Top notch sandwich, heavenly thin warm lavash rolled up with hint of purple cabbage, gorgeous chickpea balls ( not oily) and yummy sauce on the side. Nice atmosphere, very clean fast service from bartender. Resisted, with difficulty , the Vt maple baklava ! Will be back with friends !”
“Perfect place for comfort food and good conversation. Highly recommend their specials!Parking: City/stree parking and a small lotKid-friendliness: It’s a family spot.”
“The best Vietnamese resto in Burlington and surrounding area! They can get pretty busy (good sign) so order in advance if youre picking up.Many options, authentic Vietnamese, good portions, and nice service!”
“Very good cappuccino and iced oat milk latte. The kouign amann was also good and there are a few gluten free options like smoothies. The space is big and comfortable, id prefer slightly quieter music with a more laid back energy but not picky, just have sensory issues. Would love to see a gluten free pastry or sandwich option.”

“This food was so good and they were able to accommodate my requests for gluten-free and dairy-free food. The dishes smelled incredible and I was delighted that they tasted even better! Spice level, salt level, and the whole bouquet of flavors was all very impressive and great.Delight is a great name for this place! Highly recommend.”

“I love this spot! One of my new favorite brunch finds in Winooski. I’ve ordered a bowl and several of their sandwiches and they never disappoint. Great views out to the river as well.”
“The food was great. Highly recommend the Smash Burger or the wings. Loved that they had a range of drinks from great beer to delicious non-alcoholic options. What I am most impressed with is the staff. I could feel the inclusive, people-centric vibe from walking in the door. The entire staff was kind, patient, and so helpful. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a restaurant. Highly recommend Burlington Beer Company for your next outing.”
“Delicious wraps, fries, lamb, eggplant dishes, and more! We feel very lucky to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. Plus it's open Mondays when so many other places are closed;)”

“Have lived in Burlington for 7 mos now and our first time here was today! Absolutely loved the atmosphere - great jazz music playing, clean and cozy. The staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and made killer drinks. All 3 drinks we got were amazing. Can’t wait to go back and try some new ones. They have little snack platters on their menu too! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.”
“Great experience, both times that I have been here! Recently visited during 2023 Christmas holidays. Great atmosphere, excellent ciders, delicious food and awesome staff!”
“Even if this place is not a "gluten free" place, they offer a wide selection of gluten free food. We were a group of 6, including 2 gluten intolerant/coeliac and we had the gluten free pizzas (the small ones (that are not that small!!) can be gluten free, but the large ones are not available gluten free (not a big deal, btw!!))This is absolutely tasteful and the 4 of us that had those GF pizzas without needing them to be GF didn't see any difference with regular pizzas! The place is warm, nice and the service is fast and always comes with a smile.Located in the Church Street area, this place is truly a must. We will be back for sure!!Dietary restrictions: Wide selection of gluten free food. Also many vegetarian food. Overall, it is tasty ?”
“Probably the best place for Indian/Nepali cuisine in vermont. I've tried a lot of Indian restaurants in many cities and this is really your safe bet in Burlington. The food is good (tried the lamb korma, butter chicken, chicken momo dumplings and the Naan bread) all of it was generous, served with basmati rice and made my stomach full. All of my friends had a great time and were satisfied. In fact, I converted a friend who never liked Indian food before and yet rated this a 9/10 and the best Indian food he ever had.Service is excellent, the owner called me "boss" many times which I like and find respectful.I'll go back to that very convenient spot on church street when I want Indian food.Btw don't be afraid of the spices, it's very mild even at "medium".”
“We simply couldn't figure out why the daily planet did not have a higher ranking on Yelp. We had delicious sandwiches (steak and tofu) with fries on a busy Friday night - great service - great staff - we didn't see Clark and Lois.”
“Solid beers and cool location by the lake. Had the black IPA which is a style I've missed and they nailed it. Double IPA was delicious as well, a bit heavier. Also had a solid dark lager. Overall a fantastic spot.”
“My husband & I had an amazing experience at Juniper! Kalani was so friendly and gave excellent recommendations! We shared the steak frites, which was more than enough for 2 people and brought leftovers for tomorrow! We left Juniper full and SO satisfied! We would totally come again!”
“We have never had anything but an excellent meal, cocktail or service at this Church Street restaurant. Sit at the bar for full service if they are booked. Better yet plan ahead and grab a reservation for more privacy.”
“The bartender was quick and friendly, sharing stories of other breweries and beers. They were on a hiatus from brewing there while they redo their brew area but had lots of great beers on tap and some of theirs in bottles. The food was excellent too! They closed at 8 on a Friday night, though? It seemed like it was just getting busy! The bartender placed a food order for 2 friends who were arriving just before 8 and served us beers after 8. I will definitely go there again when I'm in the area.”
“I have lived in the Chittenden county area for years and have tried just about every Chinese restaurant in the area. Volcano Asian Cuisine is genuinely one of the best. My girlfriend is quite the sushi lover and she thinks the sushi here is the best in Chittenden county, if not all of Vermont. Everything else we have tried (crab rangoons, lo mein, won ton soup, fried rice) were excellent. It’s definitely one of our three favorite chinese restaurants in Chittenden county, along with Oriental Wok (Essex) and Yummy (Colchester).”
“Many reasons to champion this establishment. First, great beer selection. 2-their beer is high quality...and then some. 3-this is a no frills brewery; it's about the beer-no televisions, no promotional advertisement's (though they might do promo nights-I do not know), clientele was cheery and engaging (good "craic" as The Irish say and awesome personnel.4-Now, I only know of one employee (small sample size). Simon was a very attentive, friendly, tolerant barkeep, and practiced the willingness to partake in a bit of harmless rhetorical fun.5-But down to "brass tacks." This is a cool place to enjoy great brew. I found out from a neighbor of the area that the place was founded and owned by a former high school teacher. Come on, you can't go wrong!”
“Amazingly good food at a decent price. I've only been for take out but the inside looks clean and inviting. Only ever seen one staff who I assume is the owner and he is very nice. #20 is my go to dish!”
“Delicious food for a reasonable price. Friendly proprietor. Nice and quiet. Easy parking.Don’t miss Chicken 65. It is sinsational!!!Vegetarian options: Aloo GobiSaag paneerChana MassalaLentilsParking: Parking right next to the restaurant for free.”
“So tasty! Wide variety of caringly assembled flavorful hot sandwiches. Definitely not fast food but worth the wait. Even better than my first visit back in 2003.”

“I love this spot! One of my new favorite brunch finds in Winooski. I’ve ordered a bowl and several of their sandwiches and they never disappoint. Great views out to the river as well.”
“My maple latte and rooibos latte were absolutely delicious and very well made. There is very little seating and honestly its kind of cold inside, and the barista was loudly watching TV before and after making the drinks which I didn’t love. Overall, really good place to grab a delicious drink and skedaddle.”
“So tasty! Wide variety of caringly assembled flavorful hot sandwiches. Definitely not fast food but worth the wait. Even better than my first visit back in 2003.”
“Wow my sandwich was delicious, Steak & Eggs, the steak melted in your mouth, the bread crispy and soft inside. Very fresh and homemade, I would go back. Only downside, there is not much room inside and for a very cold day and a tourist on a walking tour wished to be able to sit down but had to wait several minutes for a table despite the long wait for the sandwich, but the wait was worth it!”
“Great little brewery to stop by. Plenty of seats and space. Had a pretty good selection of beers on tap. We tried the smoked beer flight. Not really my taste, but they were brewed well. Next time I'm over there, I'll try some of the other beers they have.”
“Great beer! Jason was lovely at the bar - very welcoming and knowledgeable. The tap room is dog friendly and we were able to enjoy a wide variety. Would definitely recommend!”
“This is the BEST sandwich spot in Burlington. The care they put into their sandwich making is on another level. They have amazing service and the quality of all their food is just unreal. Love this place!!!”
“Very cool coffeeshop right in front of the Co-op has great coffee and standout pastries - best croissant ? in Burlington so far - still have more to try. The building itself is a yuppie dream warehouse situation.Parking: Parking is tricky to get into because the access road right next to the coffeeshop is one way. Enter through the Howard center and there is another entrance in back.”
“The Boardroom is such a fun place to go with friends and family! There are so many games to choose from, the atmosphere is great (the downstairs is like your grandma’s cozy basement), and the food is nostalgic of your childhood favorites. Highly recommend going as your next group outing!”
“Love the wings and dumplings. Cheap, and good quality drinks--beers as cheap as $2 and $5 hand-squeezed margaritas!! It really doesn't get better than this. The owners are so kind and attentive, we love this place.”
“Best in the neighborhood! Friendly staff, excellent latte and baked goods....morning muffin, ham and cheese croissant or homemade granola..its all good. Small, quaint coffee shop vibe, can get a little cramped when it's busy. Worth it♡”
“I took my 7 year old here for a mom and kiddo date. It was quiet on arrival and they sat us in a large booth where we were able to sit side by side. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable. We built towers out of creamers and played hangman and laughed until we couldn’t breathe. Our server was funny and engaged, and while he forgot to include chocolate chips in the pancake order- my son preferred the plain pancakes dusted with sugar.Pancake was the size of a dinner plate- crispy on the outside and fluffy in the center. Just sweet enough you didn’t even need syrup!I had the breakfast sandwich with goat cheese and hashbrowns and it was excellent.Looking forward to coming back with the whole family next time.”
“The Owners are absolutely wonderful ☺️ There Apple cake is to die for! I can't wait to come back for brunch and try there soups they have such interesting selections and all different types of things. This is one of Burlington's hidden Gems.”
“Nice spot for a quick breakfast!Quick and friendly service. Exactly what you expect for an American Diner breakfast!Make sure to have space if you order the Hungry Henry with all 3 meat options!”
“this awesome spot serves the best fresh bundles of love. you can taste the care and structure of the food implemented by the lovely owner and his wife. the restaurant is filled with a warm presence and the staff is very kind. i definitely recommend.”

“So far the best customer serivce ive experienced in Vermont! Young woman preparing my sandwich was an absolute gem, professionally friendly with a great and contagious positive attitude.Ingredients are the freshest ive had in a longtime at Subway which hits the mark of "Eat Fresh". Churro was ok, nice to try and dont come here specifically for it.Unfortunately had to remove a star, almost 2 because older supervisor/manager was poorly handling the situation and it wasnt even busy. She treated the employee serving me a bit rudely which left a bad experience as a patron given she was serving me with amazing courtesy.”
“I go here frequently and I like it a lot. True, you might run into one or two employees who come off a little unfriendly, but they have never been rude to me, or given me poor service. Great food and salsa options, and always easy parking. I can’t go wrong going here a few times every month.”
“We simply couldn't figure out why the daily planet did not have a higher ranking on Yelp. We had delicious sandwiches (steak and tofu) with fries on a busy Friday night - great service - great staff - we didn't see Clark and Lois.”
“This is a must visit. Very cool women owned and operated store. Merchandise is extremely creative and interestingly displayed. I am so happy with my unique, upcyclced purchase. I received so many comments and compliments on my lamp.”

“Got take out here for the first time tonight, ordered 3 sushi rolls and one udon soup for just 32$, which is an incredible price for the amount of food and quality. The sushi was delicious and fresh, and the noodles in the udon soup were the perfect texture. Will 100% be coming back.”
“In a city (town) full of excellent cafes, Kestrel still manages to stand out. A big part of that is thanks to Rachel, who single handedly provides the baked goods. Or should I say baked GREATS! Folks, you cannot beat an expertly crafted caffeinated beverage paired with an out of this world scone/cookie/muffin. I recommend the denizen with a breakfast sammie (that homemade biscuit, though!)”
“The Cosmic Grind was a dream!! It combines two of my favorite things, space and coffee. The baristas were the most friendly and the coffee was spectacular. Definitely recommend and will be back!”
“It's pumpkin spice season and I was lucky enough to find Kestrel Coffee for a quick pumpkin spice latte and lemon poppy seed muffin. The coffee wasn't too sweet and had an authentic (not artificial) pumpkin flavor. The muffin was delicious and very lemony. It's a smaller coffee shop, but has a nice atmosphere with a super friendly staff!”
“Chloe was great! We came in from out of town & she made our experience so much more enjoyable. So enthusiastic, attitude matters! Service is what’s keep customers around. Way to go!”
“The maple bacon sandwich is truly amazing for a tourist looking for some maple flavour. The scenery was Epic with the view of the lake. We visited on our way to the airport after some skiing at Smuggs, and this was a perfect last stop after flying back to SC.”
“HUGE SANDWICHES AND WRAPS. Like holy moly. This thing could feed a family! Lots of selection with the build your own wrap or sandwich option. Allergy friendly for this dairy allergy girl!”
“This is a nice little on campus coffee shop, and during the regular school year it's always filled with people. The expresso drinks aren't quite the quality I would expect, but the environment and service is nice.”
“Loved this place, stumbled on it while out for a walk. Definitely bigger than it looks. Great prices on drinks. Pool table and outside seating in the back with tables, chairs, foot rests and even has a grill and horseshoes. Bartenders were very friendly and outgoing. One of the best "local" bars in town that I experienced.”
“Micro Mobile Kitchen is my go-to choice to eat whenever I visit the BFM. I always look forward to their Impossible kabobs made with great care and consideration for both allergies and inclusion of local ingredients. The flavor is amazing and the service is so friendly. I can't rave about Micro Mobile Kitchen enough!”
“We enjoyed our breakfast of coffee, veggie chowder, and cornbread & egg sandwich in a warm, laid back atmosphere. The service was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the cost was reasonable. We also really enjoyed the blueberry almond cake for "dessert". We will definitely be going back!Vegetarian options: Readily available and part of the regular menu, not just an afterthought.”
“I remember eating Ms. Hong's Dumplings on Church Street with her cart. She has the best Dumplings in the City. After eating these i would defiantly drive 2 hours just to have them. I wish she had more options though. The City of Burlington residents loved her so much they helped pitch in for her to get her own store. Now that says alot doesn't it? I also wish she would sell frozen Dumplings and even sell them in bulk. She could get rich selling them.”
“I bring my lunch to work, but today the floor ate it. I heard this place has the best burger and it didn’t disappoint! A typical small neighborhood shop, I was happy to have the online order option, it was ready and still hot when I picked up. The unnamed burger was to die for! Thanks to you I don’t have to cry over spilled leftovers anymore!”
“They didn’t accept my MD virtual id. Sad. I liked the food quite a bit (Al pastor!).My bfs burrito had pineapple, which I enjoyed, but he said it was not great (he’s Hispanic).”
“Absolutely delicious. Friendly servers. Nice atmosphere. We were missing Indian cuisine. This establishment hit all the right buttons. Looking forward to our next visit.”

“My wife and I visit Brio every time we visit Vermont which is as often as possible. This past October we visited before spending a day in Burlington. My wife who is not a big coffee drinker had a Calypso espresso while I a big coffee drinker went with the single origin Ethiopia Shantawene. Fast forward 4 months and I am still dreaming about that single origin espresso. I roast my own coffee at home and drink a ton of espresso and I still have not been able to recreate anything like that experience. Brio is one of the best in the business and I 100% recommend stopping while you are in the Burlington area. I hope some day to be able to pull a shot of my own coffee that can re create that experience over again. Thanks for everything you do!”
“One of the best dinners I've had in Burlington, all the dishes had balanced flavors and good sauces. The cinnamon girl mocktail was great if you love sour things which we did. 50$ a person and we each Got a drink. 4 plates was enough for us but 5 for hungrier people.”
“My husband & I had an amazing experience at Juniper! Kalani was so friendly and gave excellent recommendations! We shared the steak frites, which was more than enough for 2 people and brought leftovers for tomorrow! We left Juniper full and SO satisfied! We would totally come again!”

“Didn’t really know what to expect coming to Ida for the first time… my wife and I ordered the chicken parm (highly recommend), BK pie with VT garlic, bottle of wine and the olive oil cake (best I’ve ever had). All of it was fantastic! We sat at the bar and were lucky enough to see the owners in action. Everything was timed well and they didn’t miss a beat. The wine is imported from Italy, and it was amazing - went down smooth and didn’t leave us feeling crummy. My only regret is not adding pepperoni to the pizza! My only feedback is that it could be helpful to have a little background on the restaurant/ingredients/prices displayed somewhere or even on the back of the menus - that way guests can fully understand what they’re enjoying and why without getting their panties in a bunch.”
“Delicious wraps, fries, lamb, eggplant dishes, and more! We feel very lucky to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. Plus it's open Mondays when so many other places are closed;)”
“A couple of years ago I had visited this store and it was ran poorly, recently I had visited the store and there was a new owner and the store was renovated. The prices on the items are very cheap and very affordable, the owners are also really kind. The food there is out of the world 10/10 recommended.”
“There’s a German word Schatzi that means treasure and this place is a little treasure indeed. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. Sakes were delicious. The appetizers were incredible - we got the oshinko, soba, and tuna with quail egg. My partner got the sushi assortment and I got the steamed salmon in miso butter. I can *bathe* in that miso butter. The bartender and waitress were incredibly nice as well and very attentive. There’s not one bad thing at all. Highly recommend!”

Our salads were excellent and the fallen chocolate cake perfect. We just had the best time. My mom is 90 and we'll be back soon. She says it is worth the long drive from Southern Vermont!”

“I placed an order for delivery and one of my items was forgotten. I called the restaurant and they offered to either refund me or to deliver the forgotten item. I asked for it to be delivered and they had it delivered fairly quickly. Food was delicious and hot, can't complain at all. They are quick to correct mistakes and all in all, their food really hits the spot. This is for sure my go-to Chinese restaurant in the area.”
“This is a cheap bar for the area, they have pool, fooz ball and karaoke. The bouncer wasn't very nice but the place was packed with drunk people so I understand why.”
“We enjoyed the entire experience. Great cocktails (lemon martinis and a Negroni), appetizers, and everyone thought their entree was excellent. We had the limoncello shrimp, chicken marsala, and pasta dishes. Highly recommend.”
“Everyone was super kind!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair accessible bathroom, but my mom who is in an electric wheelchair wouldn’t be able to get through the front doors with the way they are set-up.”
“Amazing food!Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan gluten free options! The red Thai soup, mock eel, and fried green beans were delicious. They even had a coconut tapioca pudding!”

“Phenomenal restaurant! Food, service, atmosphere everything was five stars. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. Everything was brought out the moment it was placed on the counter from the chefs.
