“My family just arrived from Nepal and were craving chole bhatura, a dish not listed on the menu. However, upon our single request, the restaurant graciously prepared it for us. Honestly, they made our day with their exceptional service and delicious food.

We also tried the chicken momo, chicken chow mein ,veg and chicken samosas, which were fantastic. Additionally, we ordered chowmein and momos for takeout, and they did not disappoint. This place is the best Indian restaurant around, offering some Nepali and Indo-Chinese dishes as well. Highly recommended!”

“This is one of those kinds of restaurants that makes you not want to leave when you’re in from out of town! A local recommended it and I’m SO glad I came. There was already a bit of a line at the door when I got there a few minutes before open. Inside the restaurant is adorable. The white bean dip with focaccia was to die for!! The burrata was a bit smaller than expected for the price but was also fabulous. Fancy’s is the new kid on the block and I fully expect to wait in an even longer line when I’m back in town next.”

“My first job was at a NJ bagel shop. It was under the table and I was underage, that’s how you know we were legit ? I feel that I gatekeep bagels, having lived in NYC, Boston and now VT.

It’s on Church st and in VT but to my surprise, this place is AWESOME. The quality of the bagels, the creativity of the sandwiches, the diversity of the cream cheeses. Man oh man do I look forward to coming here almost every day.

Not only is the food product exceptional (freshly baked) but the staff is also lovely. Attentive, they remember me, customer service oriented, and friendly.

My favorite sandwich to get is the Jalapeño cheddar bagel not toasted (why toast it if it is freshly baked each day?) with bacon scallion (which they now have discontinued booooo) cream cheese with tomato slices. Highly recommend and hope one day they will call this sandwich “The Ana””

“The Pinery was the perfect addition to our wedding. The trailer was ideal for our venue due to limited space inside for a bar. The staff was flexible and friendly leading up to our wedding and the day of.The Pinery worked with us to create a bar menu that was a hit with our guests. We were able to create a menu with his and her cocktails and other cocktails to appease all guests. The team was also very helpful at recommending beers, wines, and nonalcoholic beverages. The prebatched cocktails (margarita, bees knees, whiskey sour) were all such a hit with our guests that we still receive compliments months after the wedding. The team even went as far as setting aside some of the his and her cocktails to ensure we had some before they were all gone and holding onto an egg white to make me a proper whiskey sour before the end of the night. We look forward to working with The Pinery again in the future and cannot recommend them enough for a wedding bar service.Carsen & Taylor”

“This is a small, quaint restaurant that is worth the wait. My hubby and I had the grilled pork belly, a mushroom and pasta dish. Everything is fresh made and it appears the menu changes often as it is a farm to table type place. I love pasta and this was one of the best mushroom and homemade pasta dishes I have had.
Everything is a sharable plate, so go hungry and order 3-4 things. We split 2 things because we had plans for ice cream later.
The music is a little loud but the place is small so it helps drown out the crowd. We were there on a Wednesday and it was packed. I very much recommend. Sorry for the lack of photos. It looked so good I forgot to take them”
