The gumbo was the best we’ve ever tasted! Perfect seasoning with delectable chicken and crawfish. Also loved the duck ragout, blackened catfish, and jambalaya. Service was impeccable - we felt like guests in the chef’s home, rather than restaurant patrons. Don’t forget to try the sweet potato pie!
One of the most amazing culinary and atmospheric experiences we've ever had. My wife and I reserved a table on a Sunday evening and were transported to the heart and soul of Louisana. The food was amazing, we tried a variety of entrées (gator gumbo, flank steak, mussels, crab cakes, jambalaya) before diving into the duck ragout. We had a delightful meal tonight at Bourbon Street restaurant in Burlington, Vermont. Chef Richard is the host, chef and owner. He was a pleasure to meet, the food was delicious and the desserts were fantastic. This is a cozy little Mecca in Burlington. We felt like we were welcomed into Richard’s home. We are happy that we were able to get reservations. The food has various little twists that provided gastronomical delights.
