“There’s a German word Schatzi that means treasure and this place is a little treasure indeed. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. Sakes were delicious. The appetizers were incredible - we got the oshinko, soba, and tuna with quail egg. My partner got the sushi assortment and I got the steamed salmon in miso butter. I can *bathe* in that miso butter. The bartender and waitress were incredibly nice as well and very attentive. There’s not one bad thing at all. Highly recommend!“

“Got take out here for the first time tonight, ordered 3 sushi rolls and one udon soup for just 32$, which is an incredible price for the amount of food and quality. The sushi was delicious and fresh, and the noodles in the udon soup were the perfect texture. Will 100% be coming back.“

“Food: 10/10 Service: 8/10 Ambience: 8/10 We hit this place for lunch one day when staying in Burlington for our ski trip. Food, a HUGE menu of virtually every popular Asian noodle dish. Good luck choosing! As there is sooooo much, and from what we had, was soooo good. Two of us got the udon noodle soup lunch combo, $15 for a big bowl of udon soup AND a roll of sushi or gyoza, that's a deal!!! Other friend got the Pad Thai, also fantastic! Service, really nothing to complain about. Our waitress knew the menu very well and was able to make good suggestions. Our only very small complaint was it took a while for her to come back and check on us after our meal. Ambience, a small whole in the wall. NOT wheel chair accessible, as it's basically located in the basement of a building, with the only option of stairs. A VERY small and intimate space, maybe 6-7 tables total. Very modern and clean esthetic. Cost*** Very affordable, especially if you go with their combos. I highly recommend this place!“

“Not sure why this place doesn't have better reviews. I've been coming here for almost 3 years as it's always a reliable spot to scratch that sushi and miso soup itch. Great local spot with reasonable prices and good food. The folks working have always been kind and respectful.“

“I came across this place as I was walking up Church Street looking for a lunch spot. They have signature dishes, or you could build your own. There is an array of fish, toppings, and sauces to choose from. The server was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting. The portion size was just right (not too small, but not too filling). Great location and reasonable prices. Would recommend this spot!“

“This little mom-an-pop sushi shop rocks. They pay attention to the quality of the rice and the temperature of the fish like few sushi places do. Not a fine dining sushi atmosphere, but what's on the plate is as good as anything you'll find. We always go here before seeing a movie at the Majestic 10.“

“I personally love that they take your order right away. If you go during peak hours of lunch or dinner the turn over for the food is pretty good. I also really like the weekend food options for Friday-Sunday. I've gone other days and didn't have a problem with the food. Just liked the other options offered only on weekends more. Never had an issue with the food.“

“I have frequented this restaurant for many years and I have never had a bad meal. We have always received excellent service whether it’s the dining room or the hibachi bar. The food is always excellent. And their sushi is by far some of the best in the area.Parking: If there’s not enough room in the front yard, there is a larger parking area further back behind the restaurant. We have never had any issues with parking or finding a spot.“

“THE OFFICIAL BAE-DROPS.Shout out to Mr. Dayumdrops on youtube!!Lets get into it - Delicious and fresh sushi, prompt service, and we even got a little free green tea ice cream thrown in on the end for free! We ordered the specialty rolls and they were very tasty. The place has a big menu (which sometimes isn't the greatest thing since keeping 100 + items stocked and fresh can be a huge trial for a local restaurant) but if you order tempura or sushi here you'll definitely be in for a fresh treat. Meant to mention the Tempura specifically which was nice and light and crispy. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're in the area or just really craving sushi.. We came all the way from central VT and gotta say it was worth it.“
