“We were visiting our granddaughter at UVM and took her and her dad to this charming bistro for dinner. We had a great meal - steak frites, 1/2 rack of lamb, jerk swordfish, and a veggie pasta in Parmigiana cream sauce, preceded by excellent cocktails and followed by delicious desserts. The classic art deco ambience was perfect. When you can wow three generations including an 18 year old, you're definitely doing a great job!.“

“We have been coming here since 1986 when it was a tiny spot that let us teenagers sit and drink coffee all day. They are one of Burlington’s oldest and most loved restaurants, known for their early bird Bistro dinner that serves French classics like Beef Bourgignon, Steak Frites and even gluten free Cavatappi Carbonara. Tonight it was snowing hard and the restaurant was still full and the service was terrific. It’s our go-to place for the last 35 years and I’m grateful they are still around.“

“My wife and I tried this place, thinking about lunch. To our surprise, it’s really a breakfast/brunch place. I had the Kahlua French toast, which was fantastic. It was light and fluffy, grilled to perfection. The sausage links on the side were disappointing. It seemed they came from a box of frozen sausage links and they just heated them up. My wife had an eggs dish (sorry, I’m not an egg person so I don’t remember what it was). But the Canadian bacon looked great, so I’ll get that next time. She enjoyed her meal and loved the potatoes. She said there was some onion in them and most places don’t do that anymore.

The hostess was very nice and accommodating. Our server was great. He came by with the coffee pot asking if I wanted a refill. He stopped by the table a couple times to be sure everything was ok. Great service overall.

I will be back to try other meals there.“
