Top ten worst experiences dining I ever had. Started great. Prompt service, drinks came fast. We ordered and the meals came before the appetizers. Then one appetizer came and by the time the other one came mine was cold. Water person was sweating so bad sweat dripped in my water. We then waited an hour before the meals came. Medium Steak was raw in the middle. I received a meal I didn’t order. Wait person never checked on our meals. I ate two bites of the meal I didn’t...read full review
Disappointment is an understatement for our dinner with friends while visiting Burlington. Food was mediocre & the service was less than mediocre. Our server would come to the table, ask if we needed anything or how things were & then leave before we had s chance to answer. We noted he did this with almost every table he had. Just going thru the motions of being a server is not enough to be a "good" server. We would definitely not go back.

Leunig's Bistro is a small, cozy restaurant known for its French-style atmosphere and diverse menu options. It offers dishes with a French leaning, like the highly praised onion soup, which one reviewer called the best they've ever had. The steak frites is cooked perfectly and served with a delicious red wine demi and crispy fries, making it a popular choice. The Duck Confit Poutine receives special mention for its light, well-seasoned gravy and generous portion of duck. The bistro also features a good selection of drinks, including a great martini, and knowledgeable staff who provide attentive service. The atmosphere is lovely, with a lively yet intimate setting, though tables are close together, which can make it noisy at times. The menu includes vegetarian options, such as an African stew, and occasionally Italian dishes. While some found the staff, especially the host, a bit less friendly, overall, guests enjoy the excellent food, good service, and the opportunity to do some shopping nearby. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is often busy.
