“Very cool vibes inside. Especially loved the woods beams throughout! The coffee was HOT and the scones were delicious! My husband got a "pot of tea" in a cast iron tea pot.... They literally have a wall of loose tea leaves to fit everyone's fancy; so many flavors to choose from. The spicy chai was delicious as well.“
“I work in downtown Burlington, and Thorn + Roots is one of our go to places for lunch and dinner in the neighborhood. Particularly during the winter, we focus on their excellent grain bowls (Santa Fe and the Mediterranean are favorites) and the salads (Beets Bliss and the Chicken BLT are amazing!). Once the weather warms up, we add smoothie bowls to our options, and they are all great (PB&J açaí is my favorite and my wife loves the Tropical Berry bowl). I’ve also tried their soups this winter, and the chili is perfect on a cold day! You really can’t go wrong with anything on their extensive menu!“
“These are raw, unfiltered and remarkably high quality juices. THey come in a pint-plus size bottle and, at about the same price as a pint of microbrew beer, are a waaaay beter value, oz for oz. I mix juice and water half and half; even then, the taste and color is vivid.“
“Always AMAZING smoothies. Ryan is amazing, his staff is great. Helpful and non-judgmental. He has helped me with figuring what protein to use, AND has agreed to order monthly my collagen I put in my coffee...no sugar/sugar substitute or cream/half n half needed with this collagen in my coffee. Truly an amazing human and owner.“
“Great smoothies! The best part is how customizable everything is! I get a special smoothie that I've concocted: vanilla frozen yogurt, banana, chocolate whey protein, almond milk, and walnuts. It'll keep my full for 3 or 4 hours and it tastes delicious.“
“I really want to give five stars but the last four times that I’ve ordered out here I’ve gotten a completely wrong order. Luckily all of their food tastes fantastic. But I do think they have to figure out how to make sure the customers get the right order the first time unfortunately.“
