I love how imaginative and fun their food is. The carrot hotdog was my favorite and it had great texture; I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. Unfortunately, the dumplings were soggy and fell apart due to being so overcooked. Both of the crunch wraps looked great on paper, but the flavor fell flat for both. so for those of you that don't know, this restaurant was featured on guy fieri's diners drive ins and dives many years ago. as a recently surfacing vegan of the time i would look up celebrity chef names with the word vegan after it and this was the first suggestion that popped up with his name on it. he showcased their famous crunchwrap supreme and all the thought that goes into each ingredient from the cashew queso to the chili to the guacamole (made w/o avocado). Can't visit my daughter in Burlington without a trip to Pingala. The varied and tasty menu, the friendly staff and the stunning riverfront location can't be beat! This time I tried the Brunch Crunchwrap. Super yummy and the perfect portion size. My daughter got the fresh rolls, which she enjoyed. Can't wait to come back and try more!
