Can't visit my daughter in Burlington without a trip to Pingala. The varied and tasty menu, the friendly staff and the stunning riverfront location can't be beat! This time I tried the Brunch Crunchwrap. Super yummy and the perfect portion size. My daughter got the fresh rolls, which she enjoyed. Can't wait to come back and try more!

I love how imaginative and fun their food is. The carrot hotdog was my favorite and it had great texture; I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. Unfortunately, the dumplings were soggy and fell apart due to being so overcooked. Both of the crunch wraps looked great on paper, but the flavor fell flat for both. Felt the same about the nachos as well. I'd give this place 5 stars if everything was seasoned better and had more flavor. Maybe it was just an off day, but I was only impressed with the carrot dog and burger (flavor-wise). I love that they make everything inhouse though. The interior has fun vibes and it's in a great spot nestled next to the river downtown with plenty of parking.

so for those of you that don't know, this restaurant was featured on guy fieri's diners drive ins and dives many years ago. as a recently surfacing vegan of the time i would look up celebrity chef names with the word vegan after it and this was the first suggestion that popped up with his name on it. he showcased their famous crunchwrap supreme and all the thought that goes into each ingredient from the cashew queso to the chili to the guacamole (made w/o avocado). ANYWAYS, fast forward many years later and i find myself in burlington for the first time since watching that video which has been permanently locked into my brain. this was an extremely full circle moment for me, and perhaps that's a bit of an arbitrary thing to rate this place so highly over, but being able to satisfy my entry level vegan cravings all these years later means a whole lot to me. not to mention the crunchwrap is DELICIOUS!

Friendly staff, they seemed happy to be there and serve customers. Great atmosphere.Food was good, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I got a fake-egg or fake-meat option instead of tofu; I went against my palette a bit. Still good though, especially with the Jalapeño aioli sauce. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Super busy on a Sunday afternoon, but we were able to snag a table and our food came out quickly! It looked so good that I almost forgot to take pics… we tried the Caesar-ish as a wrap, buffalo mac crunchwrap, and the most delicious cupcake. Very friendly staff too!

The diverse menu with flavorful and inventive dishes that genuinely exceeded my expectations. Amidst the cozy and inviting atmosphere, I had the Buffalo Crunch Wrap and Fresh Roll, and each bite was nothing short of amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend Pingala Cafe to anyone in search of a fantastic vegan meal within a warm and welcoming environment.

Behind the doors of that bright red food truck parked inside the cafe are a bunch of young chefs creating out-of-this-world delicious food! The vegan Caesar bowl and blueberry apple muffin are absolute top shelf items. This is vegan food done really well.Dietary restrictions: vegan

I like everything on the menu, although I'd say that the crunchwrap Supreme is probably my least favorite thing...not sure why it's so popular. I really love the wraps, and the breakfast sandwich is my most commonly ordered thing. Recently they changed it up--bfast sandwich is now on a bunch, rather than an English muffin. Please try the broccoli!!! It's so delicious.

Pingala recently change menu's, and it went completely down hill. No more carrot dogs or tasty wraps, a new switch to bowls, handheld items, and crunchwraps. I'm sure quality has stayed the same, but all of my favorites are gone! Haven't gone back since :(

I am a huge fan of this spot. Their menu has gone through some iterations but has settled in a great place. I recommend any of the crunch wraps, the mcnuggies and grandma Sues peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. Updated from previous review on 2018-02-12

100% all vegan spot in an industrial building by the Winooski River. Seriously, stunning spot. They have a small menu but it’s nice that it’s all vegan. They had a small bakery case of goodies as well. We enjoyed our crunchwraps (it’s what they are known for!) - very yummy! It’s basically a flat burrito. We got the buffalo mac one which was a nice size, fully stuffed and the tortilla had a nice crisp to it! We got the “nuggies” on the side- which was sort of let down to see them just soy chunks warmed up- not crispy or battered. But the crunchwraps were BOMB, the location is beautiful & it’s nice to eat at a fully vegan spot! Great vibes. Great food. Great staff!
