“Authentic Vietnamese restaurant.The pho soup is excellent with its tasty broth and the chicken tao sauce too!We took the table d'hôte and the portions are generous for the price! Dessert was a small coconut cake, not very sweet but very good all the same. $32 for the table d'hôte was worth it!“
“Popped into La Tomate Blanche in the heart of the South Shore's Dix30 shopping and entertainment district for a quick lunch. Located on the second floor (above the Japanese resto Niji), La Tomate Blanche has a very modern urbane decor with large windows allowing in tremendous amounts of natural lighting against a predominantly white decor, giving it more of a Miami feel than suburban Montreal.Coincidentally, we ended up ordering the exact same dishes from the Table d'Hote...the soup of the day, Broccoli Soup (excellent...one of the best versions I've had) and the Ravioli di Zucca (ravioli stuffed with pancetta in a creme sauce (also excellent). High regards for the pasta dish.Overall service was very friendly and pleasant with the meal being delivered promptly and in keep with a faster lunch service. Worth a visit if you are in the area. “I went there with a friend for the oyster special on Tuesday, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sushi! Truly the best I have eaten by far! Not to mention that the decor is sublime and the waitress was impeccable, she gave us excellent service! I recommend!“
