“A lovely Portuguese-inspired brunch place. We had the Portuguese-style eggs, came with potatoes, salad, roasted veg and great bread. We also had the vegetarian crepes with feta — extremely nice rich sauce with some well-cooked veggie filling. The pastel de nata egg tart was the cherry on top — great place!“

“Gluten free heaven in Old Montreal. Everything is 100% gf and this Celiac is thrilled. I enjoyed a Nutella crepe for breakfast and a turkey and cheese croissant for lunch. Before I leave Montreal, I'm snagging a dozen croissants for the road because nobody makes these beautiful buttery flaky delights at home. What a treasure!“

“Je me réveille et je pense encore à mon souper d’hier soir. Je n’ai qu’une envie c’est de retourner pour tout goûter. Ce restaurant est l’un de mes meilleurs restos à vie. Nous étions 7 et tous avons été ravis de nos assiettes. Belles, bonnes, bonnes portions, c’était une explosion de bonheur en bouche. Je recommande à tout le monde , vous allez être plus que satisfait et voudrez y retourner. Bravo Brett et Sandra j’ai déjà hâte de vous revoir.“

“The food here is incredibly tasty and delicious. My son loved the Le Bennie burger so much he asked for a second one! We also tried the Baos and one of the bowls—everything was absolutely delicious. On top of the fantastic menu, the service is excellent, the prices are great, and the place itself is very cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend!“

“Je n'ai malheureusement pas de photo à l'appui, j'étais trop distrait par le délicieux repas. J'ai été pour la première fois hier à l'occasion de la fête des mères et ... on y retournera certainement pour la fête des pères ! Que dire, tout est parfait ? L'ambiance est conviviable. Les lieux sont ultra propres, incluant la salle de bain. Le service était impeccable et rapide. James fait le tour de tous les clients sur place pour s'assurer que tout est bon. Excellente initiative à la hauteur du restaurant. Je ne peux que chaudement recommander (et je suis quelqu'un de difficile !)“

“On adorait le resto à la table. on a donc essayé la livraison aujourd'hui. Les plats sont arrivés froids, pas tièdes ...froids ! J'avais ecrit un commentaire de mettre un plat non épicé, ça n'a pas été fait. et aucun appel pour dire par exemple qu'il n'avait pas un substitution... Très déçue !“

“On October 10, 2024, I had a very special gastronomic experience in a restaurant at Carrefour Laval. At dinner time, at New York Fries at Carrefour Laval, I was treated to a large poutine named in my honor: the “Seb” poutine. In this poutine, there are (if I remember correctly): fries, cheese curds, pieces of pickles and merguez, cheese sauce and brown sauce for poutine, pieces of bacon and the all served with a fountain drink. It was a real treat!“

“This is as true as it gets if you are looking for a great pick for old school MTL Diner food that is less mainstream. Beautiful steamie and poutine with very dark gravy was served to me in a very reasonable amount of time. Service was fine. No idea how old this place is but it's definitely old. Wish them continued longevity.“

“Like having a baguette in Paris but with way better service. Staff is always kind, courteous and efficient. The croissants and chocolatines are buttery and flaky and their chouquettes are like eating buttery sugary air. A must try in my books“

“Wife and I just celebrated our anniversary here.
we started with some Proseco, and had a Greek Salad with a side of Crab Cakes which were decadent. My main course was the lamb chops, grilled to perfection and wife had the grilled shrimp. Both dishes came with rice and vegetables.
For dessert, we finished of with Loukoumades for two and they were so good I ordered another single portion.
We spent three and a half hours there, they do not rush you, and the service is excellent.
The staff go out of their way for you. I had developed a headache while there and the waiter made sure I got some Tylenol.

“June 30 in the evening with a great group of coworkers, We celebrated a special person and I can’t tell you how amazing the staff were. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was conducive to a big group, but it’s the staff that were exceptional. I wish I had gotten their names, two young men and a female that were so attentive, Polite and professional This should be a model for all restaurants to follow is the way they treat their customers I will highly recommend this place to anyone“

“I visited from the Greater Toronto Area and loved this bakery tucked away around Jean-Talon Market. The baked goods for the day are posted online. I got a baguette, half a brioche, and an almond croissant. The baguette was so good that I ate it in one sitting. I regret not buying another baguette. Prices here are also cheaper than in Jean-Talon Market. Loved it and can’t wait to try more when I come back to Montreal!“
