“We've had the lunch special and we've gotten some pasta, pesto and burrata to take home and cook ourselves later. Service is super friendly, the pasta is sooo good! The lunch deal is great, changes every day and you can't really go wrong with pasta and sauce to take home. Can't wait to try a lasagna!”
“It was good, the service was really good and I felt really comfortable. The environment is clean and stylish. I got the kaarage chicken and it wasn’t the best ever but I still enjoyed it. I wish they had a plain miso soup since they didn’t I got the veggie broth which was surprisingly tasty. An overall 4 ”
“Take out order and I'm super happy! Everything is fresh and tastes amazing. Inside place has some curtains for privacy and that builts very good atmosphere. Glas to see great chefs working nearby.”
“One of the best restaurants in Montreal. A very hidden gem, where good food, great service, and the ever watchful grace of owner chef Mehdi makes this a throwback experience when going out to restaurants was a wholesome and entertaining ”
“Ate here for NYE and the food was phenomenal! Service was excellent too, and the atmosphere was, as expected, fun a vibrant. The stand-out dishes for our party were the steak, key lime pie and bread pudding. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Montreal area.”
“Ive tried both the red and the original curry sauce. I prefer lighter so I really enjoyed the lightly spicy red curry over chicken katsu. I love the flash fried broccoli, super tasty! The original curry is rich and has depth! I recommend this place if you want to try something different in the curry world!”
“For fast food sushi, this isn't bad at all. It's in the Westmount food court. Kind of pricey but it's to be expected (hello, Westmount). Fish was fresh, nothing to complain about. Service is also fine, I'd say a notch up from food court dining, as they have a separated area that feels a bit more resto-like.”
“This restaurant was my go-to spot when I was a student at Westmount High School back in 2014. Their burgers are huge, delicious, and cost-efficient! I tried them again after a few years, and they were still as good as before. I highly recommend them!”
“Although Kashima is located close to our home, I only discovered it recently following a neighbour's recommendation. Kashima prepares sushi for take-out only. I have been ordering a "small" sushi-sashimi combo. The sashimi is plentiful, very fresh and delicious, and the sushi also of excellent quality. The portions of wasabi and ginger are large and taste as if they were prepared especially for each order. The combo includes a small salad and a generous portion of miso soup. The price in view of the quality is extremely reasonable. Since discovering Kashima I have become a regular customer ( at least once a week), and l recommend it highly to those who appreciate good quality sushi and sashimi. For many years I lived in Vancouver, where sushi was plentiful, high quality, and reasonably priced. Kashima is the first restaurant I have found in Montreal that compares well to the sushi restaurants I enjoyed in Vancouver.”
“Donato is a true gastronomic gem! Their burrata is simply divine, among the best I have ever tasted. The service is impeccable, and what really impressed me was that they not only took into account the note I left over the phone, but they also honored it perfectly. It's this kind of attention to detail and customer focus that makes all the difference. I am literally in love with this place and I highly recommend it to all lovers of good food and quality service.”
“Lovely atmosphere and really friendly knowleagable staff. We chose this place bc of its gluten free options and our entire group of sushi lovers was happy w the food and the coconut sorbet.”
“We went to Park yesterday! (Tuesday)Edamame starter and miso soup, soup was good but nothing more.Beef tartare and tatakis. The tartare lacked punch. The tatakis suggested by the waiter were exquisite, the taste was there. The platter, once arrived at our table but what beauty and freshness, the sea urchins were extraordinarily succulent, we were unable to finish the platter. The service was impeccable, fast, always attentive, professional.I can't wait to go back.”
“Fantastic community gem. Mouton Noir catered a 4 year-old birthday party on Sunday and it couldn't have been nicer. The kids played on the green and parents ordered coffee and drinks from the counter. Then we had a wonderful catered spread for lunch for kids and adults - everything was delicious and everybody ate a ton! Phil was so lovely and easy with the planning and couldn't have been nicer. The staff was kind and responsive. I feel so lucky to have such a nice cafe at the rec center and in the park!”
“Tucked away in the back of the lobby of this Westmount office building is one of Montreal’s best kept secrets. The authentic diner has none of the fake or forced nostalgia you see from other establishments that have been canonized by this generation of Montrealers. The daily specials are delicious as are the home baked goods. The staff is dedicated and wonderful and the lack of any element of trend, pretentiousness or self-awareness makes this restaurant an absolute gem and classic. Picture “Arthur’s” without the scene. This is a place for those who know, and those who know order homemade soft-shell tacos on Friday.”
“Quite simply a wonderful dining experience. Attentive, professional service delivered with a very positive attitude. The menu had some unique offerings that were 'across the board' delicious. I highly recommend Bistro La Franquette!”
